Summary: I had a great time coming back to the Elephant for about the fourth time. It's not the Hilton, it's a boutique, chic hotel with themed rooms full of character. Really comfy bed and pillows. Great breakfast. There is The Herd steak restaurant, I tell everybody about it, it's great and the steaks are lovely.

Summary: A very nice surprise to stop at this hotel on our way to London. Our room was clean and offered amenities such as a shower hat and loufah! The bed and pillows were very comfortable. My only criticism is that we were kept awake by some people who had a late night and were using the shower. You can hear the plumbing through the walls.

Summary: Enjoyed our stay at the elephant, good size room, nice tea, coffee , etc in room. Huge bed was very comfortable, en suite facilities were clean & well stocked. Staff friendly & I felt weak looked after. Breakfast I thought was excellent. Managed to park in the public car park next door at a very reasonable cost as elephant one was full..
