Positive: Location is amazing. Very modern inside. Very quiet can’t really hear anyone else in the building. Very helpful with early check in which is appreciated with small children who were up from 3am.
Negative: Upon arriving to the airport we were informed that we now had 3 apartments instead of 2x 3 bedroom apartments. This was fine as the AC was not working in the room originally booked. However the 2 bedroom apartment then missed out on the balcony as we were on ground level. Some members of the family went to there 3 bedroom apartment and found a cockroach. We informed the team and they said the place is cleaned regularly and this is due to weather. They said someone would come to clean. The person mopped around the bed which isn’t really a deterrent for cockroaches. They then found more cockroaches during there stay. We were in our 2 bedroom apartment and noticed a trail of ants. Again informed them they said someone will come to clean tomorrow and they will give us something to clean with now. No one came to clean during the stay. We spent the trip constantly cleaning as we had 2 young children. I then took my child to the bath where the water was fine. All of a sudden it turned freezing cold. Called the team and they came to the room and said the water is running fine. Clearly not as I’m having to boil water in a kettle and mix this with cold tap water to shower my children. The problem occurred in all 3 apartments. Before bed we asked the team how do we lock the door from the inside as we had a 3 year old who can easily reach the door handle and open the door. They advised us you can’t but you can block the door with furniture on the inside. This is a fire safety hazard. There are no locks on the bathroom doors. Not suitable for Sharing with family as we were originally going to share with my sister in law and her adult daughter. Also do not see the need to have frosted bathroom doors where you can see what the person in the bathroom is doing. No bedroom locks so again if you have other family members visiting your apartment it can be awkward. Refused to extend reservation.
