Positive: Beautiful, spacious rooms and a lovely location. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. After a full day on safari in Udawalawe, jumping into the pool was exactly what we needed. Highly recommended if you're visiting the national park.

Positive: Staff were very kind and looked after us well. The pool was clean and refreshing, a welcome relief from the heat.
Negative: The accomodation we booked would be perfect for a family with children but the loft area was not comfortable for adults. Gates are locked overnight and there did not appear to be a staff member present overnight. This created an issue for us when we had booked any early morning safari. The staff member who was opening the gate was a little late, our safari vehicle had already arrived and we were locked in for a while.
Summary: Overall, it was a lovely stay.

Positive: This property exceeded my expectations. The accommodation was spacious and clean. My kids loved their sleeping arrangements....they had floor beds in the attic with a look out of the main room. Their swimming pool is fantastic to chill at after safari. Vijay and his team were always checking on us. The food was delicious, we stayed for lunch and dinners too! Kids were happy with their spaghetti Arrabiata and chicken noodle dish. If I was ever back in Udawalawe I would definitely book in again
Summary: Perfect spot to relax

Positive: This is a very comfortable small scale resort, with a pool that was larger and more comfortable than expected. The rooms are well-designed and the family room is spacious. . The AC is powerful yet quiet, but cooling down the loft/children ssleeping area takes some planning. Ideal for resort living and visits to the elephants.
Negative: Vegetarian dining/breakfast options were more limited compared to other places we stayed at

Positive: The rooms were beautiful and so was the pool. We had a few bugs on our bed first night so we asked for clean sheets which were changed immediately. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the safari booked through the hotel was excellent. Great stop off for safari. Also good for wildlife watching.
Negative: The food wasn’t awful like people have said it’s just not as good as other places in Sri Lanka the kids however liked the chips and blt so it’s not bad for picky eaters.
Summary: Great value for money for a safari stop off
