Summary: This was a lovely flat to share amongst three people, allowing each person to have individual bedrooms. Very comfortable living room. Super modern kitchen. It's in a quiet part of Lyon, near the Botanical garden and close to metro stop Massena, making it very easy to get to the old town. We very much enjoyed this flat and our stay there. To the cooconr management: The only negative in this flat- there was an odd, rather unpleasant smell in the apartment reminiscent of fish? Vinegar? not good! Maybe it was the cleaning product that was used?? It helped to open the windows, but that smell was a negative!

Summary: ELLA "Great location by the park and a metro station. Having secure off street parking is a big selling point, 30 mins from airport, easy access to the motorways. Flat is well finished, TV has Netflix etc, sometimes we found it a bit loud during the night - not parties but a bit of banging most nights. Would recommend."

Summary: ELLA Very well located (fantastic bakery and nice restaurants close by) - very convenient and offering a close and free car park. Very quiet environment. That’s for the good news. Now one of the 2 showers did not work (cocoonair gave us a refund) and to be honest the appartement is a bit smelly.. a plumber visit would be highly recommended. All in all a nice stay but couple of details would made it even better!

Summary: We would not rent this apartment again. Although it is beautifully designed, everything is falling apart from a lot of use. The kitchen units are striking but most of the drawer fronts don't spring open to the touch as intended and some of them just fall off. And whoever decided that white laminate countertops in a rental was a good idea should give up their creative control. Luckily, there were lots of cleaning supplies so we were able to leave the kitchen unmarked. The kitchen was not well-equipped- no table knives (just steak knives), one bread knife but no knives for proper food preparation, and a wierd and useless variety of cooking utensils. The shower rooms are well done and new but could also do with a bit of maintenance to address various loose handles and cabinet drawers. And having a hair drier is nice, but having one with an UK plug in France wasn't so great. The beds and bedding were comfortable so that was really nice. The single WC was not ideal however but we knew there was only one in advance. What we did not know was that the unit had the sqeakiest floors in recorded history. We spent the first two days tip-toeing around to not disturb the downstairs neighbors until we realized that the store downstairs couldn't hear us anyway. The floors are so noisy that if you had to use the WC in the middle of the night everyone one was awakened. I have rented apartments in Europe for decades and have never experienced anything even close to these floors. Yikes. The neighborhood is interesting with a mix of cultures and classes of people. We quite enjoyed that. The park is also close by and should be enjoyed daily if possible. Transport links are good. I think that the agency that manages this apartment is likely fine and I would probably use them again. The rental process was seamless and communication good. It would be useful however to have a proper folder of information regarding how to use the appliances, how to take out the trash with recycling guidelines, and other relevant information. Just pointing to manuals stuffed in a drawer is not good enough. And having to refer back to my email for needed information is just not good enough either.
