Positive: everything about Ellies spa cottage was fantastic. super clean, all comforts of home, lots of food supplies for breakfast, lots of special little touches. right in centre of town, with the fantastic pub and fish and chip shop across the road.
Negative: Deep bath to step into for showers was a tad challenging, but manageable, especially with rubber mat and handrail
Summary: loved our 3 night stay, every time we walked in the door it felt like home

Positive: We loved loved our stay at Ellie’s Cottage Studio. Ellie has thought of absolutely everything one might need! We had a wonderful four night stay and would totally recommend to anyone. Location is brilliant- down a little laneway but right in the centre of beautiful Stanley. Ellie’s attention to detail was second to none - even providing chocolates, biscuits and fruit, bathroom toiletries were great too. She also provided a bag with beach towels in. Ellie was great to deal with!

Positive: The emenities were amazing, stocked up kitchen area with the ability to cook anything you'd want, lovely spa bath, crisp style and decor/furniture, being right on the main strip was worth the price and the owner was incredible to deal with :)
Negative: The only issues were I could not cast to the TV from my phone or ipad. And there was abit of mould behind the head rests in the spa, no mould anywhere else in the spa though :) and might be a good idea to have a packet of spa cleaning tablets so guests can run a cleaning sycle through the spa system before first and after last use.

Positive: A lovely , quiet studio unit in a perfect location on the main street but with good private parking . Stanley is a delightful small town with history , beautiful buildings and great cafes and restaurants. Two nights was not really enough and our next visit will still be at Ellie’s but for longer as there is so much in town and in the wider area to see and do . Wonderful seafood and friendly locals add to a great stay .
Negative: As older guests we found the sofa rather difficult to get up from .
