Summary: Delightfully comfortable and spacious with breathtaking garden Brilliant location in historic Main Street with quality furnishings. Wallaby spotted in garden. To enhance our stay would have loved fly screen in bedrooms and access to a washing machine. Generous supply of crockery and quality appliances . We will be back and wish we had the capital to purchase !this Idyllic retreat.

Summary: Our group of 3 couples enjoyed the house. Unfortunately the "Expansive grounds and gardens " were weed-filled and not at all inviting. No washing machine, and no laundromat in town. Overall house a bit quirky but still very comfortable and spacious. Fireplace lovely. Could not use 4th bedroom as other guests would then need to go through it for toilet use.

Summary: 2 nights was not long enough. Stanley is a beautiful town with lots to do. Our accomodation was supurb! Perfectly located, clean, lots of space. No fuss booking, check-in & check-out. Would definately stay again.

Summary: We spent 8 days in the property. It's on the main street, but it's very quiet in the evening! Overall very attractive and comfortable, with great beds. I loved the artwork! The location was perfect, and we ate out most nights (great pub!) or bought excellent takeaway seafood. Didn't do much cooking but the kitchen had almost everything we needed, with the exception of a teapot and juicer. Also, if there are plans for laundry facilities in the future, then longer-stay guests would no doubt appreciate this. We did quite a bit of hand washing! A very interesting rear garden with The Nut as its backdrop - some work was obviously under way as there was a large concrete slab next to the decking which detracted from the overall impression. Look out for the two resident pademelons in the garden - a definite highlight!

Summary: We loved our stay in this property. We loved Stanley and I think this was partly because we were so comfortable in this accommodation. Fantastic location and gorgeous building.

Summary: Generous-sized, comfortable rooms with pleasant ambiance make this a great location for 2-3 couples to share. Showers over deep baths might not suit those with mobility issues, but the water was hot and the shower effective. If you are using the front bedroom and are sensitive to light bring an eye mask, as a strong spotlight is trained on the window all night, and lights up the room despite the blinds. The main street location is ideal, and generally quiet, although there was some minor street noise on Saturday night. Short walk to the pub or seafood restaurant, but you may like to book in advance as we found these booked out even on week nights.
