Positive: Beautiful location steps away from walks along the canal in the heart of the countryside. Accommodation was exceptionally clean, comfortable and has everything needed for self catering. The navigation pub restaurant across the street is perfect for cooks night off!

Positive: Lovely outside area and pub right across the road. Walks to nearby villages, accessible via tow path in both directions. Dog friendly.

Negative: Studios are not very sound proof, you can hear the neighbouring studios water running.

Positive: Very comfy bed and comfy, relaxing armchairs. Great to have internet TV available to watch Netflix, Prime etc. Good sized room. Great shower, very powerful. Great location near both A1 and M1 motorways and opposite a canal side pub/restaurant where we had an excellent meal whilst basking in the sunshine and admiring the view of the canal and colourful narrow boats.

Negative: Shower grout needs a deep clean. Ice box/freezer in fridge was out of order. A magnifying make up mirror on the bathroom wall would be good. No sockets near mirror to plug in hairdryer or tongs - would need an extention lead. Duvet very thick/heavy in warm weather.

Positive: Exceptionally clean, well thought out little studio. Perfect for staying a few nights for a training course I was doing. Cosy, well equipped little kitchenette, parking, safe place.

Negative: If being super picky, the bathroom sink is tiny. I found it hard to spot the entrance to the property in the dark evening. A light above the sign would be helpful. That’s it! I’d come back for sure if I’m in the area.

Summary: Really good, I’d stay here again. :-)
