Positive: A Magical Stay at Els Masos de Caula Our stay at Els Masos de Caula was nothing short of magical. We stayed in Paller de Dalt, and from the moment we arrived, everything was simply perfect. The house itself is thoughtfully designed and incredibly comfortable, but it was the breathtaking views from the lounge that truly stole our hearts — a sweeping, panoramic landscape that felt like something out of a dream. We spent countless hours on the spacious outdoor terrace, soaking up the serenity and enjoying long, leisurely dinners cooked on the built-in BBQ. Rosa, our host, was warm, attentive, and so kind. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and her care and hospitality made us feel so welcome and looked after. Our bed was enormous, with luxurious linens that made it hard to leave in the mornings. The pool was heavenly — pristine and surrounded by nature. The entire property exudes tranquility. The grounds are lovingly maintained, and every corner feels like a secluded slice of paradise. We felt completely safe, peaceful, and wonderfully spoiled throughout our stay. Els Masos de Caula is a rare gem — a place where you can truly unwind, connect with nature, and feel at home.

Positive: Beautiful self contained villa with loads of amenities (BBQ, stove, etc), lots of things to do (local hikes and cycles) and incredible set-apart location nestled between the hills and with incredible views. You cannot do better for a peaceful get away to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle out In a very natural setting. Rosa was lovely, very accommodating and easily contactable.
Negative: Only thing to say is location is not ideal if you want regularly to go back and forth (reasonably long road to the property, some of which is gravel) - it is more designed as a get away (and it is perfect for that). Girona and thr other nearby towns are still easily accessible but wouldn't use the booking solely to access them.

Positive: Situated in the most amazing location in the hills north-west of Girona, Els masos de Caula is literally off the beaten track. It was utterly peaceful: there were no traffic noises, just the sounds of the cicadas and had stunning views up and down the valley. The sky was truly dark at night allowing breathtaking views of the stars. The property is wonderfully appointed, very tasteful and comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen. The beds were extremely comfortable, thank you. The beautiful pool and the air conditioning were invaluable in the heat of late July. And Rosa! Rosa guided us when we were lost, greeted us when we arrived (all with the help of Google-translate!) and is the most beautiful human being. Nothing was too much trouble and she always had a smile on her face.

Positive: We were met at the property by host contact who directed us to the property and then gave a tour of the property highlighting all of the facilities. We were able to enter the property before the pre-arranged time. Air conditioning in the kitchen/diner and bedroom.
Negative: The property is a little remote.

Positive: My wife, daughter and son in law stayed at this property for three nights. The ambience, peacefulness, accommodations and views were all outstanding. The enthusiasm and joy that Rosa brought to our stay was magnetic. She is so engaged and possesses a charming personality. Her breakfasts were absolutely delicious. We enjoyed the fact that she adapted her offerings to our taste preferences (less meats and more fresh fruits and preserves). Lluisa was easy to communicate with prior to and after our stay. Her information about directions and other particulars was spot on. Els Masos de Caula is off the beaten track and unique in its offering. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone who would like to have a magical escape.

Excellent tv with all streaming services. Great amenities up to date Wonderful staff Rosa is so enthusiastic and friendly and helpful. The pool was sparkling clean every was perfect I recommend thousand percent and absolute gem . Incredible views and peace
