It is a very pretty house, adorned with slate stone, and with a fenced garden of 2000 m2 . Inside the property there is a swimming pool for the exclusive use of guests (also fenced for safety), a huge pool for a detached house, with 140 m3 (140.000 liters) of water. The pool contains slightly salty water to improve the well-being of bathers (saline chlorination) as well as night lighting. In the garden, there is barbecue, a picnic area, a large trampoline for children, a two-story wooden house for the children, a ping pong, a fireplace and arenal to play. It is a house perfectly suited to enjoy the holidays, with everything that a family may need for several days.
The house has a large hall, with a sofa and a zone with toys for children (that can be used). A large smart Led TV connected to internet is available. A door opens to the sleeping area, with two double bedrooms, and two rooms with beds (one with two and another with three beds). Likewise, there is a sink with shower, and a small room to comb or shave, with a water spike. To finish, the ground floor has a garage, with a washing machine, a drier, an auxiliary refrigerator, a table football and space for bicycles or motorcycles.
The second floor is accessed by a staircase, where there is a large living/dining room, with a table and a large sofa to relax or watch TV. Around the entire living room, and outwardly, there is a flowered balcony that surrounds the whole house. On this balcony there is a table for breakfast or dinner outside. From this balcony, the landscape is very beautiful, with the pool on one side, and a mountain with green trees on the other. In a room attached to the dining room, there is the kitchen, which has a dishwasher and refrigerator.
The house is located in an area with secluded houses, in a quiet street near the main road. There is a bar and restaurant within 200 m. Concurrently, there is a sports court that can be used (with goals and baskets). It is a very quiet area, where the most noise may be the hens, donkeys or pets.
The landscape is very beautiful, whit a very varied flora and fauna, with fountains and abundant streams. The garden is also green and cared for, with shaded areas and shrubs and flowering plants.

Summary: Amazing garden and pool with great facilities for kids, teenagers and adults alike. A little inconvenient with one bathroom for 7 people but that is clearly stated in description. Xavier, the owner, very helpful and responsive, provided everything we needed and more.

Summary: Javier's house was fantastic. Enormous pool and a great garden if you had children with you. We were a couple so had plenty of space. The house is well equipped with everything you need and Javier was a very responsive host. We were also just five minutes away from a decent bar restairante for the odd meal out. We had very bad weather for a few days so the television offering was a tad disappointing unless you speak German.! But i would come back and recommend to anyone wanti g a ni e stay fairly close to Girona. El cal ganso

Summary: Xavier the owner met us with a warm welcome and showed us everything we needed to know about the villa, how to work the satellite TV, wifi code etc.The property is very well equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery, kitchen equipment, two fridge freezers etc. Outside we made good use of the pool, barbecue, trampoline, badminton net, log burner. We normally go out every day but the property was so good we had a couple of chill days just hanging out at the villa. We visited four beaches along the coast, each about an hour's drive from the villa (Cala Truemal and Platja de Castell were our favourites) and drove into Barcelona for a day. We used an app called Parclick which got us a whole day secure parking at the Avinguda de Rius i Taulet right next to the Magic Fountain for ten euros. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet and spacious retreat or anyone looking for a great base if you don't mind driving an hour or so to get to the great beaches. The driving was easy with the aid of my trusty satnav. I set it to avoid tolls to use the scenic routes and this probably only added ten minutes to an hour's journey. If you have a rainy day and like a bit of retail therapy, the Gran Jonquera shopping outlet is only approx. 40 minutes north as well. It is one of the few shopping centres open on Sundays and includes a supermarket. The villa ticked all the boxes for us, with a bedroom each for our three teenagers to have some space of their own. The bedroom layout would also suit two couples with a swarm of younger kids - you just would not get such spacious and peaceful accommodation like this on the coast for this price.
