Positive: Embrace Resort, the island, the people, the vibe, the beach, the water, everything absolutely amazing! From the moment I arrived until the last day, I felt at home! Gabby picked me up at the airport, the most adorable person! Miss you already! She gave me a tour of the island in the little buggy, showed me where everything is and she was so nice and helpful! Dymond, the chef from the cafe is also the amazing and super nice and prepares the best breakfast wrap :) Absolutely recommend staying there and most of all going on their pig’s tour, which is a dream come true! Thank you for the beautiful memories, I truly felt like I was part of your island family!

Positive: The resort is beautifully maintained and the owners and staff are so nice! You will be greeted at the airstrip with a smile and big hug and picked up via golf cart ! Staniel Cay and the surrounding exuma cays are so beautiful ! The water is exquisite ! Pool loungers and pool very nice .

Negative: The mattress in Eluethera cottage was not very comfortable. No cushion at all. Would be nice if the Flying Pig Cafe was open at least until 6p. There are no other dining places except big dogs and the Yacht club. I didn't want go to the Yacht club everyday so I bought some extra food at lunch and kept in my room refrigerator and heated it up for dinner since there is also a microwave in your cottage.

Positive: Awesome spot! Very clean, Exuma building was very big for our family of 6. Breakfast was hot and choice of the menu (and free), great food (and fast, not typical 45 minute "Bahama time")! Staff was VERY attentive to everything. They were up early each day cleaning the grounds. View of airplanes and ramp for the little airport from our top deck and windows. Island is walkable, but golf cart preferred (especially hitting the secluded beach areas - don't miss Pirate Trap beach, its beautiful!). Resort is very affordable relative to the other options. We rented our own boat to get around for 2 of the days ($350/day), dock was 30 second walk away. We will be back to Embrace, coolest Bahama out island ever and we've been to most!

Positive: We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite, which was cozy with a comfortable bed and a great jacuzzi bath. Food options on the island are limited given size so we appreciated the on-site café which offered simple but lovely food. Breakfast was tasty. The location is very convenient next to the airport, and we appreciated the cheap golf cart rental. Although not directly on the beach, the island is small and several beautiful beaches are just a few minutes’ drive or a pleasant walk away. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We also booked a tour through their connected 3Ns Tour, which we highly recommend. Overall, a wonderful stay—we’d definitely return!

Negative: No real downsides but we went in the down season so a few bits in the room and on site needed a refresh but this did not detract from comfort or enjoyment. Be aware that the cafe may operate limited hours and other places may also be shut during down season. The cafe is closed Sunday to observe a day of rest which we absolutely support but you need to plan in advance if there are no other options open. There are several supermarkets nearby.
