Negative: WiFi didn't work in the room The sofa bed in the king suite wasn't that comfortable The bath tub had a plumbing issue and water leaked onto the bedroom floor The remote car parking was a bit of a pain - but the shuttle was frequent and quick

Positive: Beautiful buildings in breathtaking setting. The crowds of people coming in during the day made it seem like a festival. The line of cars and busses bring people in was a mile long. We were astonished.

Positive: Located in the beautiful emerald lake in Yoho NP.. The lodges are a bit old but the view from the room was top. We didn't dine there since it was extremely expensive (instead we drove to lake louise village for the very good restaurant in the HI). There is also a nice little spa of hot tub. The staff at the front desk were very nice and really helped us with planning our hiking in the park. It's Also nice to have the lake quiet in the evening and early in the morning before the sea of tourists arrive.
Negative: The car park for the Lodge guests is few kms away from the Lodge. You have to park there and call (from a special phone located in the parking lot) to the reception and a shuttle comes to take you. Then each time you want to go out with the car and back you have to rake the shuttle to and from the Lodge. Sometimes you need wait to other guests and the whole process is a bit annoying

Negative: Stairs to cabin, especially the three high steps with no handrail. We had requested stair free by email as I had suffered a minor injury during our trip.
Summary: A great experience dampened somewhat by the difficulty in accessing our cabin.

Positive: The room was well appointed with a good and comfortable bed. The location on the lakefront is excellent, with a very good view and plenty of opportunity to enjoy the Great Outdoors on numerous hikes and boating. The food was good but did not warrant the price. The staff was very friendly, helpful and professional, as well as interestingly international. The Resort has great potential, but just is not quite there yet.
Negative: The area was massively overcrowded which made us feel like we were in downtown New York City. Despite numerous attempts with staff help, I could not get an internet connection in the room. There was no tv, but we did not miss it because it was nice to be outside.
Summary: Shut off your phone and enjoy the Great Outdoors

Positive: This property made you disconnect and admire nature at its best. The room views across the lake added to the ambiance and peaceful surroundings. The dining options and the staff were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and Gus our shuttle driver was knowledgeable and great to talk to. Great stay thoroughly enjoyed.
