Positive: Staying in a schist home is a lovely way to experience the area. The beds were comfortable and the area was so quiet. It is very authentic. The hosts were available if we had problems which was great.

Negative: The owners sent a few videos to help with check in - which were great for getting in but the photo of the house is old and it shows white exterior. I would also suggest they include their tel no. A book with instructions about the stay was hard to locate.

Positive: Very spacious, good views. Well equipped kitchen. The heating was on when we arrived which was very thoughtful :) We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to others. The price was reasonable as well.

Negative: Make sure to turn on the water heater before taking a shower. It is pretty far up the village - we didn’t mind it and enjoyed the location, but it’s something to be aware of. It took us a few minutes to figure out how to insert the entrance code.

Summary: Loved the place! You should stay here :)

Positive: We live in Porto, and we’ve been to Switzerland, near Moleson’s Mountain the last year. We should have travelled to Piodão instead, as this small village and this particular home is from the other world.

Negative: We have arrived there and it was just like someone had been waiting for us. It felt so home. Thank you all, Natascha, Artur, Alexandre, Edo and Murico (sorry for possible misspelling). We wish you great 2026!

Positive: This is truly a 10 out of 10! One of the best accommodations I've spent the night at. You can see how much effort was put into providing any imaginable thing a guest might need in the house. You will find here literally everything. The village is absolutely beautiful and staying in the center of it has a charm. Do not hesitate for a moment and book this place! :)

Positive: The property is in a beautiful location. Everything is thought out, including plenty of coffee. The mattress was very comfortable. The host was very responsive and gave us a lot of additional instructions on where to find features of the village.

Summary: This was a magical village that felt lost in time. I would definitely stay at Encanto again if I find my way there.

Positive: Very comfortable and cute little house in the middle of Piodao. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. The beds are comfortable and the area very quiet for a nice sleep. The house was very clean and smelling fresh when we arrived. Nice hikes and restaurants around the area. Lots of stairs to get to the house so keep that in mind if someone in your party is physically challenged. Will definitely stay again!
