Summary: This property worked really well for two families looking to relax and enjoy the lake. We appreciated having easy access to kayaks and paddleboards as well as the beach and beach toys for the kids to play with on the shore. The house was spacious with a nice kitchen and good-sized bedrooms. Providing a "smores kit" to use on the firepit was a nice touch that the kids really enjoyed. The house provided many amenities that made traveling with kids easier. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

Summary: We enjoyed our short weekend stay at Heron's Cove Log Cabin. The home works well for groups with plenty of bedroom and bathroom space. We ended up using less than half the space available. The home decor is well done matching the cabin aesthetics. The outdoor areas could use a little attention with an ample amount of cobwebs around the deck and dock areas as well as weeds in the lawn and beach areas. We did assist with some cleanup during our stay. The lake and boating amenities provided are wonderful; we put the kayaks to good use during our stay. The water at the property is warm, clean and very appealing to all ages with easy access. It's a wonderful place to float and relax for hours.

Summary: This house is well maintained and has kids toys on the beach and kayak/SUP board which is really great and handy! The firepit is also great for an evening marshmallow gathering! Would love to come back again!

Summary: We had a family wedding in Mineral and wanted to stay close by. Heron’s Cove was the perfect house to accommodate our eight family members ranging from 8months to 81 years. There was plenty of room for all of us to hang out together both inside and out. Kathy was also very helpful in allowing us to check in early so we could make the Rehearsal dinner in Charlottesville on time. We all had a wonderful time and would definitely go back.
