The Tower of Uguccione, an early 13th century Condottiero, is in the center of Sansepolcro with its entrance on the main street, just 50 meters from the central “Torre di Berta” square.
The Tower is the perfect place to spend an unforgettable holiday in a real medieval tower located in the heart of Sansepolcro.
You enter the apartment through a medieval door.
On the first level are the kitchen/dining room and a bathroom. A large bedroom studio is located on the upper floor with a double bed, a sofa bed for a child (length is 160cm), a cot for a baby and large windows overlooking the roofs, the towers and the church steeples of the town. The bedroom can accommodate 2 adults, 1 child and 1 baby.
The terrace on top of the tower offers a stunning 360-degree view over the Tiber valley. It is also the perfect spot for tanning under the Tuscan sun, and having aperitifs and alfresco dinner.
A free Wi-Fi Internet connection is available.
The house has an air-conditioning and electrical heating system and provides all the necessary amenities for a perfect summer and/or winter stay.

The Tower of Uguccione della Faggiola is very close to the central “Torre di Berta” square and is one of the oldest standing structures of Sansepolcro (XIII century). Reaching the penthouse in the old, hidden tower is the culmination of this unique experience; you can almost hear the sound of the brave knights courting beautiful dames.
The apartment has been completely renovated in 2009. It was refurnished with piece of furniture from the historic period which the building belongs to.

Summary: I write historical fiction and was in Sansepolcro with my wife to continue my research. To stay in a medieval tower was obviously a huge attraction. Andrea was warm and welcoming from my first enquiry and could not have been more helpful throughout. He met us on the day of our arrival and showed us round the superb accommodation, including the roof-top terrace! The tower is jus metres from the main piazza in Sansepolcro and a very short walk from the Cathedral and the Tourist Information, among other locations. The property was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. If we needed anything, we could contact Andrea. (We didn't need to but he made it clear we could.) Sansepolcro is a very friendly small town in eastern Tuscany and well-placed to visit nearby sites as well as what the town itself offers - some wonderful eating places, a world-famous Piero della Francesca fresco and the Aboca museum of herbal/medicinal remedies. I would hugely recommend this property to anyone wanting a comfortable stay in a great location and experience a bit of history too. We certainly hope to return. this place deserves to be booked out continuously! THANK YOU, ANDREA. Ciao.

Summary: We have just returned from a super holiday in this property. The tower was magical and the roof terrace even better. We felt like Lords looking out over the town from the roof. Summary: An atmospheric and cosy tower on a charming street with great shopping and restaurants. Everything is spotlessly clean, the bed is comfortable and the roof terrace breathtaking! Andrea's communications were perfect, as was his welcome. He gave us lots of information so we made the most of our all too short visit. Hope to visit again.

Summary: Our vacation in the Old Tower was excellent and very romantic. The location is unique. Being in the heart of the town and, at the same time, in a so peaceful and ancient place is really amazing. The apartment is very well done and clean. Andrea has been very kind with us: many tips and suggestions for restaurants and places to visit were given. The view from the top roof terrace is unbelievable. Sansepolcro is also located in a preferred location to visit surrounding towns such as Anghiari, Arezzo, Cortona, Monterchi, Citerna, Caprese Michelangelo, Perugia, Urbino and Gubbio. We strongly recommend this place and we hope to come back soon!

Summary: The apartment is beautifully furnished and the views from the roof terrace of the town are gorgeous - the location is perfect, the bread shop is across the way and the lady who sells English newspapers a little way down the street. There are a lot of stairs and the climb would not suit everyone, but as long as you are prepared for that it is not a problem. It is quiet, comfortable and as good as they get.

Summary: We spent a couple of days in the apartment/tower during this summer and everything was perfect! The apartment with its roof terrace is really amazing: the view from the top of the building is unbelievable. The place is very romantic too: admiring the starry sky and the view of the city from the roof terrace at night is a priceless experience. The quality/price is very good. I really recommend this place!

Summary: My wife and I have spent four days during this summer in the “Tower of Uguccione”. The apartment was exactly as described in the listing and everything was in good shape, clean and in order. The owner has been very kind with us and gave us all the information and support we needed during our stay. A very big advantage of the house is its location that is wonderful: just few steps from the Cathedral and “Torre di Berta” square. Exiting from the main door of the building you are in the main pedestrian street (Via XX Settembre) which is plenty of good restaurants, bar, pubs and boutiques. During our stay, we had the possibility to enjoy alfresco aperitifs at sunset in the roof terrace: the atmosphere was so nice that we would have spent the complete night up there. I just mention that the “Tower of Uguccione” is not for elderly people with physical disabilities since it is on top floor of a medieval building with no elevator. However I want to recommend this amazing and unique place. Nowadays it is very rare to find similar and so fascinating apartments. We had the possibility to spend a really romantic holiday in an old charming tower. We hope to come back soon but with one difference this time: we will stay longer.

Summary: We were spending our holiday in Florence when we decided to explore the remaining part of Tuscany. By chance, we have found the “Tower of Uguccione” and immediately we fell in love with the place. Few days later we were there and the best part of our holiday was about to begin. Everything in the apartment was as we expected or even better. The overall quality of the apartment and available services were excellent. The price was affordable. We never had before the opportunity to spend a vacation in a so old, fascinating and peculiar place as the Tower: that was for us a so nice experience that we would repeat for sure. It was really worthy to spend part of our holiday in this medieval Tower. The view from the terrace was extraordinary: overlooking Sansepolcro city center from a different perspective is something to be experienced once in a life. No doubt: we would recommend this place!!!
