Summary: The cottage is as described no unexpected surprises. The cottage and its location were very relaxing and close to the areas we wanted to visit. Communication with the host was very good answered any questions quickly. Would recommend for anyone who wants a quite get away. We did not miss the t.v Plenty to keep busy

Summary: If you are looking to destress and get away from the noise this is perfect. My husband and I had the most relaxing time listening to old records and enjoying the peace. Our dog loved it too but there’s no enclosed area outside so we had to go out with him.

Summary: A lovely and comfortable home. True to the pictures, the decor was tasteful and the house had quirky character. Kitchen was modern and renovated and well stocked. The main bedroom's full size bed was cozy but comfortable enough. The bathrooms were updated with a retro chic decor, (though the big step into the clawfoot tub to shower might be a challenge for some.) The property abuts a main road, which brought noises of cars driving by, but really not too distracting, and this also meant quick access for exploring the area. The property manager was prompt in responding to a few questions that came up. A charming property!

Summary: Good experience renting the Yulin Cottage. The cottage was as described, we had good communication with the host when needed and was a great location for an event we were attending at West Point. Lots to do in the neighboring towns as well! Back yard sitting area was perfect to go out and relax in the shade or have coffee in the early morning sun.

Summary: Wonderful old “bungalow” - tall people wwere amused and yet still loves the 200 year old bed. Really firm mattresses that in the world of today would be frowned upon but were quite lovely. Kitchen is perfectly appointed and property manager was very responsive and wonderful. Relaxing getaway environment Only caveat is beware of steep stairs to the bedrooms and a uneven path to the front door with high stairs- only an issue for anyone who needs ADA compliance. We had no issues but my father in law ended up renting a hotel room in town due to his knees.

Summary: This old house is unique and comfortable. It has a lovely outdoor area and a working fireplace. The house is well equipped, but we missed the convenience of a microwave. One of the full-sized beds is over 200 years old. While that’s kinda cool, the bed is a little small for 2 full sized adults. The twin bed also has a thin mattress on a hard frame. We were glad that we brought an air mattress to more comfortably sleep 5 adults.
