Summary: On entering the leafy, cool and wooded garden, splashed with vibrant pops of colourful flowers, we had arrived for our summer family holiday in rural France. The doors and windows of the charming creeper-covered farmhouse were thrown wide open in welcome. On the table in the dining room, a huge bowl of luscious strawberries … we just knew we had made the perfect choice. The quaint décor, artworks and rustic charm of the home was evident in every room. Comfortable, spacious bedrooms provided perfect accommodation for our large group of 9, including five excited children. The swimming pool area was a delight and we enjoyed making use of the lounger chairs invitingly placed under an enormous old tree. The well-equipped kitchen provided all we needed to indulge in some French cuisine … although much of our cooking was done on the outdoor Weber. The garden setting provided a delightful seating area for meals al fresco. Vincent was a charming host, very helpful in providing suggestions for our week in his rural paradise and making sure every day that we were comfortable and happy. He was also a most interesting raconteur, sharing with us the history of his family and the farmhouse. We can highly recommend Maison Boismoreau for a comfortable family holiday in an utterly beautiful, quiet setting. Thank you Vincent!

Summary: We stayed here in August 2017 as a family of 4 with 2 children aged 12 and 7. The house was fully equipped and clean , however if I were to be picky then there were a couple of things needed some attention. (Toaster was broken and there was only 1 shelf in the oven ) Vincent was very welcoming and spoke very good English which was a bonus as our French was poor in comparison! The pool was great in size and also cleaned during our weeks stay. The hot tub however was an old model and in need of an overhaul. Overall we loved this accommodation and would definitely recommend giving it a try... would suit a larger group just as well with 5 bedrooms, 3 upstairs and 2 down.

Summary: We had the most wonderful and relaxing holiday here. The house is beautiful, all the bedrooms are full of character. The garden is very romantic and peaceful. The owner has created an incredible area of amazing trees and plants. The pool is fantastic, very large and in an idyllic setting. The spa has also been arranged to take in the solitude of the garden and it is absolutely stunning. Many places to sit in the garden. The owner is very kind and friendly, you will like him and he will do everything to make your holiday enjoyable. There are many great places to visit and the house is in an extremely good location for getting out and about. Many great walks from the doorstep and amazing views at the bottom of the lane. If you book this you will not be disappointed, we highly recommend it.

Summary: After a long tiring drive we always get a little apprehensive when setting eyes upon our home for the next 2 weeks. We booked this house loving the pictures and upon arrival we were not disappointed. We meant the friendly Vincent who showed us around. The house, gardens and pool are perfect the perfect setting for a family holiday. There is nothing i would change and we happily recommend this property. We recommend getting our daily bread and pastries from San Saverin, and we spent a few days travelling to Aubeterre to swim in the river. We love this area of France, and happy to stay at this house again.
