Enjoy expansive views across Chesapeake Bay to Deltaville, Windmill Point and Eastern Shore. Dolphins, ospreys, eagles, blue herons, egrets, swans, cargo ships, regattas, fireworks and NASA Wallops Island launches are observed seasonally from our neighborhood coastal cottage.
The rooftop deck is great for observing astronomical events in the celestial night sky; moon phases, meteor showers, eclipses and more. We are located in a private neighborhood with HOA. Our beach accesses are not open to the public.
ON THE ISLAND: 1)The Oyster Seed Holdings, LLC offering tours and a wine & oyster pairing overseeing beautiful Milford Haven at 425 Callis Wharf Rd. 2) Hole in the Wall Waterfront Grill serving locally sourced fresh foods. 384 Old Ferry Rd. 3) Gwynn's Island Museum displaying historical & cultural artifacts at 1775 Old Ferry Rd.
OFF THE ISLAND WITHIN 15 MINUTES: 1) Mathews Family YMCA at 33 Cricket Hill Rd. 2) Port Fun Park at 9763 Buckley Hall Rd next to the high school offers a playground, covered pavilions for picnics, tennis, restroom facilities. 3) Put In Creek Park offers parking for area picnics with tables & shelters, pavilion, kayak launch at the historic courthouse.

Summary: We had a great time at the beach house. Catherine is a great host. She was very helpful when we locked ourselves out the house. We have an adult special needs daughter she is in a hurry when we are going somewhere. We forgot the key inside and didn’t know what to do. We called her and she solved the problem right away. Host taught about every detail and is very organized . If you forgot something to bring, you can find at the house. House has a great view . Close to beach and has great balcony at the top. This our second stay because we liked it so much. We might return.

Summary: We have been coming back to this same house for a few years now. Each year we come for the July 4th week and a blast is had by all. The house is great. The beach is great. My boys love coming. You won't regret booking.

Summary: This is our second stay at this home. The home provided enough room for our family of 5. Three young adults stayed in the second BR. And, we managed fine with the 1 Bath. The home is comfortable and provided a wonderful getaway. The home was stocked with all the things that we needed to enjoy our week on the island.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay in this very clean, well stocked rental. It had everything we could ask for. The location and view is absolutely perfect. The owners were very quick to respond with any questions we had and were very accommodating. We will definitely be back and recommend this rental!

Summary: This is the go-to place to stay for a couple or small family. Too many little things to list are here, the owners have gone out of their way to make your stay great! Summary: We loved staying Bay View!! Out of all the rentals we have stayed at over the last 30 years, this one by far, is the cleanest! It felt the most like home. There are so many thoughtful extras!! Cathy is so kind! We can't wait to return!

Summary: Beautiful view of the water during the day and endless stars at night. The place was well stocked and provided everything we needed so we didn't even need to leave the house. It was a perfect getaway for a relaxing weekend. The host was very gracious and thoughtful. We'll definitely return in the future.

Summary: Beautifully situated within 30 feet of the water with great views of the Chesapeake Bay. Nicely furnished cottage, including well appreciated binoculars to view the ships and birds on the Bay. Very nice quiet streets to walk our dog during our November visit. Thank you Cathy and Dean!
