5 Bedroom House in Gowen City, Shamokin

Our address is 3429 State Route 125 Shamokin, PA 17872. As avid ATV riders and Jeep enthusiasts we saw a need for lodging near the Anthracite Outdoor Adventure Area (AOAA). We also wanted to specifically include persons with disabilities. Catering to those who use wheelchairs with accessible ramps and also a roll in shower. Come visit our large Victorian home which is nested in the mountains of the coal region. Located a mile down the road from the AOAA. In our spacious rooms we have queen sized beds as well as two rooms with bunk beds. Every bedroom comes with fire tv and free Wi-Fi. Our house has a large kitchen with all utensils and two big living rooms with plenty of comfy seating. Do you need to wash your clothes? We have that covered too along with a washer and dryer here for your convenience. Rest assured your machines are safe. You can keep them locked up in the large garage for the night. Outside our property is equipped with plenty of cameras keeping watch over the garage and house. At the end of a long day of hard riding relax by the fire pits and enjoy some of the evening views across the valley. We are also just miles from Knoebels (14 miles), The Bloomsburg Fair (24 miles), and Hershey Park (57 miles about an hour away). They are just a few of the local attractions. Hope to see you soon.

Summary: Spent a Couple days Wheeling at AOAA. Stayed at The Victorian through Vrbo. Great rustic older house that met ALL our expectations. Had a great time Wheeling and came back to a very comfortable house to relax and rest for the next day of Off-Roading.

Summary: Great place to stay for a Knoebels weekend! Enjoyed the fire pit and the dark sky viewing. Never did find the ping pong table but still had a great time

Summary: No issues with our stay, perfect location for aoaa! AC is only the bedrooms not the common areas which ended up being fine was just not aware

Summary: We took our adult children for a weekend away to ride the AOAA trails. This was the perfect place. It was close to the trails and had everything we needed. Communication was great and we enjoyed our stay.

Summary: From booking to check out Neil and Chris provided stellar communication. They were more than accommodating. The house was spotless, roomy, and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and the living area was great. Fully functional kitchen with everything needed to cook great meals. Outside barbecue area and fire pit were an added bonus. The fact the the house was set up for people with mobility issues was so appreciated. AOAA was literally 2 minutes away and so many farm stands and wineries were pretty close. We could not have asked for a better stay and we would change nothing. Thank you so much Neil and Chris

Summary: We went to aoaa to ride for the weekend. House was 5 minutes from park.. all in all very good weekend. House was clean it was older house had everything you needed besides food.. would definitely stay there again.. it was clean for what it was..

Summary: The house was adequate…. It was big enough for some extended family and clean and comfortable BUT it was an old house that needs some attention here and there like weird showers, doors that don’t shut properly and a steep uneven driveway. It’s functional but not a fancy place.
