Summary: A fantastic property and owner! Susan immediately contacted us after making the reservation and provided all the detail we would need for an easy check in. We really loved the cleanliness and all the amenities. The covered area by the lake was essential since the weather didn't cooperate. The kitchen was equipped well, and the beds were super comfortable. Our families had so much fun at this great property!

Summary: This is a lovely home and very clean! There are ample beds and the kitchen is well stocked. The views are so open of the lake! The owner was quick to respond to any questions I had and helped resolve any issues (we couldn’t find a certain channel on the tv and we weren’t familiar with the options). The only thing I’d make sure renters know is there are stairs down to the property (which are shown in pictures). This was not a hinderance to us but could be for some. I would definitely rent this property again!

Summary: Beautiful home with everything we needed and could ever have desired! Susan responded to all my questions and their book gave great suggestions for meals and entertainment. This was our first trip to Lake Martin, and we will definitely be returning. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Summary: Beautiful view of the lake to wake up to. Home was clean and kitchen was more equipped than most we have rented. Great indoor and outdoor spaces. Owners were great to work with.

Summary: Decent stay overall, but I would not come back. I’m guessing the bad reviews get reported & deleted. This did not justify the number of 5 star ratings at this price. The lake views from the house were amazing! We caught fish right off the dock. It was generally quiet and peaceful, although a neighbor’s dog barked for several hours each day. There’s no privacy though due to neighbors close on both sides and cameras installed by the owner. A big downside is the spiral staircase between the main floor and lower floor, which was extremely steep and narrow. This spiral staircase is very dangerous for toddlers and older folks, and a sure broken leg for a dog. 4 of the 6 beds are on this lower floor. There weren’t enough basic amenities like plates or towels, so we had to do laundry daily and run the dishwasher twice a day. There was only 1 roll of paper towels too. When I asked if there were more towels and paper towels somewhere, the owner was very rude with me and insulted my request several times by saying things like, “you must not travel much.” 10 texts from the owner later, I had to ignore her. Most of the furnishings were below average quality. The couch was pretty uncomfortable. The towels were super small and thin, and some were heavily stained. The interior lighting hurt our eyes at night. The water pressure in 2 of the 3 showers was extremely high and painful. Overall it was decent, but there’s too many negatives to justify the cost or all the 5 star reviews.

Summary: Beautiful home on the lake with a great backyard and dock! Perfect in every way. Multi-level boat dock great for swimming and boating. Wonderful well stocked kitchen and living room area with fabulous views of Lake Martin. Upper deck off living room is perfect for the morning coffee as you plan the activities of the day. Loved the backyard with a great firepit to relax by in the evenings and covered grill / patio area with TV. Everything is so well thought of for a wonderful outdoor experience of pure enjoyment on Lake Martin. Excellent communication with the host. Very clean home with great kitchen, beds and bathrooms. Outstanding home for a 5 Star PLUS experience. We truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you for sharing your awesome home on Lake Martin!

Summary: We have family that live out of town so we rented this house for us all to be able to spend our Christmas together! Great house & great location! It was perfect! The house was clean and decorated beautifully for Christmas! Susan was great at communicating with me and answering any questions we had. Would definitely return!

Summary: We used the property as a place to stay while we visited our Alabama family for the holidays. Beautiful home with an amazing view of the lake. Plus the house was decorated for Christmas with a beautiful full size tree and decorations on the table and counters! Everything is really modern and updated. Will definitely stay here again maybe when the weather is warm enough to enjoy the lake more.
