Summary: Our stay at Port Alice was amazing. Everything went well, the check in was easy, the parking was only feet away from the front door. Our grandkids loved the pool. The beds were comfy. We appreciated the heat pump to stay cool on the hot days. When we had question They were answered prompting. Thanks you so much.

Summary: Our family stayed in the townhouse for a week. The townhouse has two extra single beds in the basement in case more room is required. The location is in viewing distance of the water and is a short walk to the village center. Use of a pool is available during summer months. The area is very peaceful and you'd be hardpressed to hear any noise in the general area. The townhouse is clean and provides plenty of room for large families. A TV is provided and Wifi is available in order to remain connected. My stay was very relaxing and I wouldn't hesitate to book again. On the two occasions I had questions, I received responses in a timely manner. If you're from a major city, imagine Port Alice as being in a 7AM Sunday time bubble, nothing really gets busy and traffic is sparse. Port Alice is truly a hidden gem.

Summary: Although the building was older, it was very comfortable. Bed sheets and towels were good. We would definitely stay there again! The ocean view was beautiful too.

Summary: We left after two nights although rented for four nights. Heat pump not working, had to use space heaters that helped a little. Kitchen was not clean or well appointed. Some appliances did not work, skillets were rusty and unusable. Thank goodness coffee pot worked and that we brought our own coffee. Beds were comfy but rooms were not warm enough. Slider doors did not have a latch let alone a lock. Sun helped warm the place but blinds did not work to cover the slider openings. Zahid answered our calls and told me only after we arrived that a previous renter had told him that the heat did not work. Although he was trying to get someone to fix the unit(which also runs the AC), we should have been told the lack of heat situation before we arrived, Zahid was very apologetic and offered a small refund which was much appreciated, but the whole experience was very upsetting. We hope he addresses these issues since it has potential and could be very good for a family.
