Important Notes: 1) This is the left side of a twin home 2) I require a list of names of all people (over age of 2) present on property for a time period of 30 minutes or less. 3) Please read our simple and straightforward house guidelines below to ensure the home will be a good fit for your group - you can cancel for free if your group has grown too large or if you know in advance your group likes to have loud parties, especially late-night ones. If you are expecting a lot of boisterous drinking, please choose another location for your gathering. 10pm quiet hours begin outside in accordance with Inver Grove Hts law and all activity must move inside at that time.
Lake Information:
There is direct access to the lake from the property along with a 16' dock. While swimming and fishing in the lake is not recommended just because of lake weeds, people have done it before if they're feeling adventurous or overly optimistic about fish. I have only caught small fish on the lake. The lake is about 12' deep at the deepest section and because it is overall a shallow lake, the aquatic plants usually reach the surface especially in July and August. Motorized boats are not allowed on the lake so please enjoy the peace and tranquility. There is a canoe and 2 kayaks and 2 paddleboards available for your use to go exploring around the lake. It is a great opportunity to take in all the sights and sounds that nature has to offer. You may even see one of the resident bald eagles that lives on the lake's peninsula.
The location is perfect as it's so close to the Minneapolis (20 min) and St. Paul (10 min) yet secluded enough that you would never know it.
Check in time is 3 PM and check out time is 10 AM.
For your reservation, the reservation fee includes 4 guests and each additional person, even if just stopping by and not staying overnight, is an additional charge which is calculated when you finalize your reservation. The current additional charge is $30 per guest per day.
I encourage you to purchase travel insurance so that in the unlikely yet possible event that something happens and you need to cancel your trip after the refund deadline, you can receive some of your costs back for eligible cancellations.
If I find any evidence that smoking took place in the house, the fee is $500. Additionally, if you have extra guests that were not included in your reservation, you will be charged for that as well. Lastly, if I learn of these or other situations during your stay, your reservation is subject to immediate cancellation with no refund.
As neighbors are close by and expect to enjoy their home in peace and quiet, if your group becomes so loud or disruptive that the neighbors feel that they need to call me or the police about it during or after your stay, there will be a damage claim of $250.00 to be deducted from your security deposit. Additionally, your group may be asked to leave at whatever time this occurs and there would be no refund of what you have paid to complete your stay. As you expect peace and quiet at your home when you are there, please extend the same courtesy to my neighbors so that I can continue to offer this great home to others such as yourselves.
After you reserve the property, you will be provided the location of the house. Based on a few previous guests who have caused problems, I will need a list of names of anyone who will be on the property at any time during your stay, even if they are just stopping by. Each person is considered a guest for fee calculation purposes. Thanks for understanding.

There is a limit of 30 guests during the day (a guest is any person on the property even if not staying overnight and just stopping by for a short time) and a limit of 15 overnight guests. 4 guests are included with the booking and all additional guests over 4 are charged at the rate of $30/guest/day. This amount has already been calculated in your total price.
