We love European-style bedding and hope you do too! All blankets are duvets and are enclosed in duvet covers that we thoroughly wash between each visit. As a result, all the surfaces you touch in the bed are clean and you do not have to ever touch a comforter that could have been used by someone else like you would in many hotels. That also means that you do not need a flat sheet -- we hope you find that the duvet cover is a more comfortable and practical solution!

Summary: Enjoyed our time. House was clean, pool was a bonus for the family after a day at the beach. House was spacious and welcoming. Beds were very comfortable.Location was perfect! Would definitely come back!

Summary: A small group of friends & I had a great time visiting this property! Located walking distance from the village of Southhampton, this is the perfect getaway for any time of year. The house was tidy and had ample room for all of us to stay comfortably.

Summary: We had a very relaxing stay at Irene's English Cottage in Southampton. The house had all of the amenities, comfortable beds, beach towels, a big kitchen with a large dining room table, air conditioning, a beautiful pool in the backyard. We were able to walk home after having dinner in town back to the house. Irene has also beautifully designed the interior of the home. Thank you, Irene!

Summary: We found this little jewel with the best location in Southampton. Even though we only stayed one night and booked it at the very last minute on Memorial Day weekend, the gods were in our favor. Irene’s communication was on point. Everything from booking to arriving and leaving the property was flawless. We will definitely be back.
