Positive: The boat was quite nice and a change from a boring hotel room. The owner was a really kind and really lovely woman and I cannot fault her hospitality one bit. Her dogs were so gorgeous and friendly..I would have loved them in the boat😃 The local curry house wAS THE BEST curry I've actually ever eaten. They let us take home the leftovers . The bottle of bucks fizz was a sweet touch. Thanks for letting us stay in your boat as I imagine it is difficult having complete strangers coming and going every day on tour property.
Negative: We felt that there was no privacy as the boat was moored so close to the house, literally a metre away from their decked area and front room. The boat was generally clean but I have bad asthma so I noticed dust straight away. The blinds need to be taken down, thoroughly washed and the windows behind them deep cleaned just like they do in their own home. There were too many rules and worries about having to pay if the toilet blocked or there was accidental damage and no visitors. The parking space was tight to get out of and the gate was quite narrow to manoeuvre the car so hope you can manage a 6 point turn with very little room. The thought of showering in the toilet and water showering over it and my body in a confined space made me feel a bit sick so I waited until I got home. I couldn't stay here for more than a night and lucky I am local The airplanes Flying over were so loud and often that it started to annoy me as I was hoping for a bit of peace and tranquility. I feel the price per night is far too expensive as you don't get the luxuries of a hotel room for an equivalent price but maybe you pay for the experience....but it wasn't wow! The ceilings are very low in the bedrooms so I felt a bit claustrophobic. Mind walking in to the toilet as we both scrubbed our toes so many times in the high door bar. A coffee machine with pods and a pint of milk would have been good for breakfast and maybe a couple of pastries. This would not cost the earth and would be a great touch! This is my honest opinion and I am probably in the minority as no one has left an honest review . If you want a different experience from a hotel room then I recommend and if you want more luxury it wouldn't be for you;

We stumbled across this little gem while looking for accommodation near Thorpe Park, Chessington, and Legoland—all of which are within 20/30 minutes. It’s just perfect! The weather was kind to us, so we made the most of the beautiful deck—glass of wine in hand—soaking in the stunning views. The place was spotless, and Emma has thought of absolutely everything to make it feel like a home from home. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much, Emma! ☺️

Positive: Really friendly host and quality accommodation. We were treated to a bottle of Bucks Fizz in the fridge. The boat was very clean and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. Everything worked as described. The location meant we were able to get to Egham within 15 minutes by taxi. Thank you!

Positive: Great birthday night away something different other than a hotel , comfortable , didn’t feel like we was on the water was so stable , nice touch with bottle of Vicks fizz and choccys on the bed ! One thing we didn’t realise how our music or talking quite late would disturb others around us and we appologise for upsetting our host as she was so very kind and accommodating so be warned to keep noise levels to a minimum as is it in a residential area . Thankyou anyone will enjoy the tranquil atmosphere and surroundings .
