Positive: The property is a 5 minute walk from the station and Waitrose is close for food shopping. The property is very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. the dishwasher wasn't working while we were there but we ate out most of the time except for breakfast so that wasn't a major problem . There isn't much to do around West Byfleet , it's a pretty little village , not many places to eat out, we travelled into London most days , the commute is easy but pricey due to the distance .
Negative: Nothing really, everything was great.
Summary: We loved our stay at the property . very clean and comfortable , had all the amenities we needed.

Positive: The house is in a little complex extremely near to West Blyfleet train station and an easy drive to Mercedes World, which was the reason we booked. The property has a kitchen, but we didn't use it, other than to make tea or coffee as there are lots of cafes and restaurants close by, including an amazing Italian restaurant. We also chose the property because it was pet friendly. The property is in close proximity to the Basingstoke canal and towpath, so there was great walking for our us and our small terrier. We had a good night's sleep in the king sized bed. The bedroom is very large. All in all the property provided everything we needed for our stay.
Negative: The entrance to the property is a little tight and the parking space is also very tight to get into and out of. Paul's neighbour is a gem though, very kind and was very careful when opening her car door. Having said that it was great to have free parking so close to London. It would have been nice to have had a small carton of milk in the fridge to make a tea/coffee, (other reviews have mentioned they have had this). Again, it wasn't a huge issue as there is a Waitrose within walking distance. The bathroom is a little bijoux, but the shower is good.

Positive: The location is great, right near the train station if you don't drive. Access to restaurants, shops, pubs and groceries are all within 1-5 minutes walking. I liked that the house is well-equipped and the space is well-planned. Perfect for a single person or a couple on a mini-break or as a comfortable stop on the way to/from Heathrow. The proximity to the train station makes days out in London extremely doable and allow for an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Importantly, the property is very clean and the WiFi speed is great!
Negative: The rumble of the trains going by can be a surprise if you are a light sleeper (and you go to bed earlier than most). I was fine but it caught me by surprise a few times before nodding off. The parking is extremely tight but doable with a smaller car. Also, because this is a property amongst full-time residents, they are not very welcoming to having a revolving set of neighbours. Parking seems to be the biggest issue for them, as the spaces are small and the size of the car next to the resident changes regularly throughout the week, meaning they can or cannot access their own car easily. If possible, park on the road, which is what I did after speaking to a neighbour who was clearly upset (and unable to get into their car) and I could not get any further into my space.
Summary: Great property in a wonderful location. Host was excellent!
