Summary: After a long internet search for a beautiful property to host our family reunion (18 people), I was amazed by the pictures of villas Epidavros. To my surprise, the owners called me and explained that the photos do not do justice to the place and that if we finally decide to go they will make sure our holidays will be unforgettable. I thought this was a sales pitch of course.... Little did I know that everything I was told was true - and much more.... First, the area is a paradise; the villas are built on the hillside overlooking the village of Ancient Epidavros and the blue bays ahead, you feel like being in the sky and looking down upon the fertile land of Argolida and the immense blue sea.... Korinthe and Piraeus are just across the sea, behind the small islands, you think you can reach out your hand and catch them... Olive and orange trees surround the property - these freshly squeezed orange juices are the sweetest way to start your morning. The villas are built not only with quality materials but also with a lot of care, everything is being thought of, from the kitchen appliances to the board games, from the barbecue to the beautiful infinity pools and manicured garden. The villas are really spacious, clean, equipped with everything a house should have, you feel at home immediately... And the best of all: the owners - best representatives of the real Greek hospitality, genuinely taking care of their guests and convert them into friends for ever.... Mrs Keti, Mr Soulis, Xristina and Panos become your extended family, their generosity is genuine and leaves you with awe. The location is ideal also, far from the noise but close to all amenities... We had only one problem: did not want to leave the place.... We promised to return again and one should keep their promises.

Summary: We spent 1 fantastic week there. The view is lovely and the atmosphere of the place is great to such an extent that You do not have any need to go out :-) There are 3 or 4 villas - very similar one to each other on the slope of the hill above the town, about 15 min. walk. They are really well designed inside - no useless expansive gadgets no lavish decor but new, clean space where everything, every furniture and every room has sense. There are 3 bedrooms on the highest level + bathroom, a big living room below+bathroom+terrace (great) and below there is smimming pool area with adherent ground floor level (possibility of 1 or 2 extra bedrooms ) with bathroom and loundry; this level was not fully finished during our stay. The pool is great also: it's big enough to have fun and it's nice to swim having below You orange gardens and all this great landscape at the front of eyes. Our villa (as far as I know they are similar but not the same) was suitable more for 2 families (8 pax) then for 3 - that seems to be maximum, but if Mr. Tsolis family makes some works on the ground floor level (swimming pool level) it could also go well for 3. They say they will do so. Last but not least - Mr. Tsolis family are really nice and friendly people: thay care if You are satisfied and You do not need to ask for help if You want to find important places in the neighbourhood like fish shop, supermarket, doctor etc. - they are always ready to guide You. The perfect location for sihgthseeing Argolida.

Summary: This is a beautiful villa in a stunning location. The house is spacious, modern and was very clean when we arrived. There is a lovely terrace looking out across the sea and a big swimming pool. The villa is set amongst the orange and fig trees. The family were very welcoming and helpful ,arranging very reasonable car hire and even made my daughter a birthday cake. There is a lovely beach very close to the house with a great restaurant where we ate many good lunches. Epidavros has lots of good places to eat and drink and all very reasonable including a lovely, authentic , Greek taverna very close to the house. The surrounding area has a lot of interesting sites to visit and Nafplio which is a charming town with many good restaurants. We also visited Corinth and Ancient Mycenae. A perfect holiday!

Summary: This was our second trip to the picturesque and historical Peloponnese. We chose Epidavros because of it's central location to so many wonderful sights and adventures. The photos here of the house do not lie. The house provided by the Tsolis family is comfortable with everything you need to enjoy your stay. What you have to see in person is the great location. The house is on a mountain with a breathtaking view of both the sea and the village of ancient Epidavros. You will never tire of the sunrises. In addition, the Tsolis family made sure all our needs were met and helped introduce us to the friendly people in the village. If we decide to visit this region again, this house will be our first choice.

Summary: When we decided to rent a villa through the internet, we were understandably anxious about whether the description and pictures would be close to reality . . . Reality turned out to be far better then we could have hoped. Our three bedroom, two bathroom house was new and obviously built with care. Our family of two adults and four children (17,16,5,1) felt comfortable and safe throughout our two week stay. We spent many days swimming in the very good-sized pool, surrounded by olive and orange groves and fresh vegetable gardens. The view of the Aegean Sea, islands, and the village of Ancient Epidaurus filled us with beauty every day and night. Our hosts were quietly attentive to all of our needs and are clearly good and honest people who want their guests to spend their time without worry. They directed us to local sites, including the ancient theater, where we took in a Sam Mendes production of Shakespeare starring Ethan Hawke for just 20 Euros. Unbelievable. The village butcher, baker, and market provided affordable and delicious fresh food for our daily feasts and barbecues on the big stone oven next to our villa. There were also many good restaurants in the port town and surrounding area. If you can see yourself grilling fresh meat and seafood while your family plays in the pool and the wine awaits you on the dinner table, you have come to the right place. We feel like we found our long lost Greek home and can't wait to return.

Summary: 2 families with children aged 7-12 spent 17 fantastic days in this villa. The pool where in use all day long and the outdoor arrangements suited us perfect. A well air conditioned housed served as place to cool down when the outside heat became too much. The hosts where very serviceminded and generous and helped us settle in nicely. The way up to house where steep even after Norwegians standards, but manageble. We really enjoyed the spectacular view from the house. The house is very well suited for 2 families travelling together. We will be back:-)

Summary: My extended family, including our 3 grandchildren spent the last week of August at this dream place. Combining a perfect village location, a most elaborate villa and, most of all, the wonderful hosts who spared no effort to make our vacation a most pleasant experience - this turned out to be the best holiday we ever spent in Greece. (We are quite experienced in family villa rentals around Europe). The spotless villa, swiming pool and garden fulfilled all our expectations and beyond. The level of comfort was superb and our hosts insisted on amplifying it by quietly and efficiently responding to all additional requests as well guiding us to the best events and most spectacular beaches. Summary: The villa itself is nice (but simple and not luxurious) and the views to the sea are really great! However, the following important aspects were missing from its description: 1) there is no air conditioning in the downstairs bedroom, which in august was unpleasant. 2) The villa is on a steep hill, and in order for your car to get there you must turn off the air conditioning and drive in 1st gear, or the car simply won't climb the hill! so, not for the faint-hearted driver! 3) The villa wasn't equipped and fully furnished. The kitchen did not have a dish washer nor microwave, unlike advertised. there was no dvd player and no internet access, unlike advertised. no motorboat outside, unlike advertised. not enough cooking utensils and chairs, but as we were there for over a week, the owners did drop in with some chairs or bowl or baking tray here and there. Other than that, as previously mentioned, the villa & pool are very nice and the owners very hospitable and helpful!
