Featuring two houses: the Lake Villa with four bedrooms, four bathrooms and a recreation room; plus the Guest Villa with three bedrooms - each with a full kitchen.
The ultimate ESCAPE from the hustle and bustle of everyday life can be found here on the shores of beautiful Sakinaw Lake.
Situated on 5 forested private acres, Sakinaw Lake Retreat was custom designed by renowned architect David Puskitt. Both the 4000 sq. ft. Lake Villa and 1500 sq. ft. Guest Villa have expansive bedrooms, bathrooms, vaulted ceilings and great rooms boasting floor to ceiling wood burning stone fireplaces. A magnificent cedar plank deck connects the Lake Villa and Guest Villa offering spacious outdoor seating, entertaining and dining options with an outdoor fireplace and barbecue. Panoramic views of Sakinaw Lake can be seen from almost every room in both Villas. The deck and the boat house offer front row seating to the best sunsets in British Columbia.
The Lake Villa has a main floor master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and king size bed. Upstairs there is another master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and king size bed. There is a room with two twin beds and another room with a king size bed that shares a full bathroom with the twin room. All bathrooms are tastefully appointed with granite counters and slate tile finishes. In the Lake Villa there is a gourmet kitchen, dining / living room, recreation room, again, all custom designed and beautifully finished with timeless elegance.
The Guest Villa offers a main floor master bedroom with an ensuite and king size bed. Upstairs there is a lake view room with king size bed and then a room with two twins sharing a full bathroom with the lake view room. There is a full kitchen, with a large island, laundry and Great Room to complete the Guest Villa.
Imagine yourself after a day of waterskiing, fishing and barbecuing, nestled by the open fire pit, roasting marshmallows and sipping hot chocolate with the stars overhead dotting the night sky and the peaceful sound of nature’s tranquility.

Summary: This is our second year visiting this outstanding property and I can't say enough about how spectacular it is. After a 15 minute drive through a glorious forest, you arrive at this hidden gem - a huge home on the lake with absolutely every amenity you would ever want. You will never want to leave. Sherry and her team work hard to make this place perfect and it shows. Thank you! Can't wait till next time!

Summary: We booked this house with a group of friends for a celebration getaway and couldn't have been happier! The house itself is beautiful and fully stocked with everything you could ever need for cooking and entertainment. Everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were too. We stayed end of the June and the lake was surprising warm! We loved spending our days on the large deck, Adirondack chairs and dock down below. The booking process and communication from Sherry & the management team was easy and they were all very friendly. Thank you for an amazing stay and memories we will remember forever! Hope to be back again!

Summary: Family or friends, the description 'ultimate' is right - this place has everything you might need, and is the perfect mix of luxury and rustic for large groups. Very accommodating in terms of communication etc and an all-round wonderful place. We'll be back for sure!

Summary: I had my husband's 50th birthday party here. Totally amazing place, an absolute paradise with room for 18. The owner was more than accommodating for our every wish. We have spent 15 years going up to Sakinaw Lake which is a beautiful peaceful lake but the home is even more beautiful. The check in with the concierge was welcoming and informative. The company they use to manage the rentals were excellent. Even the owner was reachable. Everyone loved it and its pet friendly!! I highly recommend this Lake front get away for any occasion. The cabin comes with kayaks, games, ping pong, sup boards, a boat house roof top and a floating island. Its the best of fun for all ages!! You will not regret a single moment of your stay there!

Summary: Magical Private Lakefront Getaway! This immaculate home is large enough to comfortably accommodate three or four families, and your beloved pet! Both kitchens are amazingly well stocked, the beds are super comfortable, and there is an excellent supply of bath and swim towels. Game boards, ping pong table, kayaks, sup boards, a floating island, and a boat house roof top to jump off of in to the warm lake, will keep everyone entertained! Great hiking trails and dirt bike/mountain biking trails are just out the front door. We had a rental boat delivered to the dock to enjoy water-sports on the gorgeous pristine lake. Enjoy meals on the huge deck overlooking the lake or take a short drive in to town to great restaurants. The Property Manager, Shelley, was fabulous at helping plan our stay and the Owner, Sherry, greeted us upon check in and check out to ensure everything was to our understanding and satisfaction. It is a five star accommodation and summer holiday experience! The kids keep asking when we can go back! We will be sure to return next summer : )

Summary: Surrounded by trees and water this hidden piece of heaven offers it all. Two paddle boards, two kayaks, and a floating dock. Inside and out this place is fully stocked to meet all your needs. The property is very clean and organized to accommodate for a large group of people.

Summary: We rented this for a family reunion with thirteen people. There're was plenty of space for us all to come to together and places to get away for moments of quiet. The houses are both beautiful, kept immaculately clean, and the million dollar view was always great. The fireplaces were great to add atmosphere and to keep warm with. The kayaks, paddle boards, ping pong tables, games and hiking trails all make this a perfect place for anyone to visit. There is something for anyone no matter their interest. The kitchen was well stocked with all the basics that we would need. I would recommend this for anyone. So glad we found this treasure.
