We invite you to come relax and recharge at Freedom Farm Cabin. This property is a absolute gem and will exceed your expectations. Located in beautiful Cumming GA surrounded by manicured acreage and equestrian farms, you will have the peace and quiet of the country while still being only 7 miles from the new Cumming City Center which offers shopping, dining and outdoor concerts. As you enter the property through the private electronic gated entrance, you can enjoy the privacy and charm of this special property. The newly renovated log cabin sits on a beautiful 25 acre farm with access to rolling pastures, a meandering stream and wooded walking trails. All of the comforts of home await our guests; situated among the beautiful oaks and towering pines with tree swings, outdoor fire pit and basketball hoop. Don't be surprised to see horses peacefully grazing in nearby manicured pastures while relaxing on the back porch.
The cabin is fully furnished and is filled with charm. The main living area is heated/cooled with a new central heat/air system (Nest Thermostats) along with the toasty wood burning brick fireplace. The covered front porch is equipped with rocking chairs and the back porch is great for grilling, dining and relaxing. The kitchen with modern appliances is fully equipped. Laundry room with washer and dryer are available for your convenience as well as cable TV, wireless internet, DVD, playstation 4, games, books, Traeger smoker-barbecue grill and large outdoor Blackstone gas griddle. The master bedroom (on main level) has high ceilings, pasture views, and a newly renovated bathroom with tile shower and granite countertops.
This newly furnished, three bedroom, 2 ½ bath home, sleeps 6-7 comfortably. Master Bedroom includes one king size bed; 2nd guest room has a queen bed, and 3rd guest room has a combination bunk bed (single above, double below) ideal for children or larger families. Blow up mattresses avail upon request.
The fire pit is also a perfect place to gather with family and friends or just unwind and on a clear night enjoy incredible star gazing or the enchantment of the dimly lit trees.
Deer and turkey roam the property on a regular basis. A small year round stream meanders gently through the wooded area of the property.
If you want to venture out and visit neighboring communities you are just a short drive from popular areas including Cumming City Center, Sawnee Mountain Park, Downtown Cumming, Milton GA, Alpharetta GA, Lake Lanier and the mountains of Dahlonega GA. If shopping is your thing, check out the newly built City Center Forsyth , Halcyon, Avalon, The Collection of Forsyth, Northpoint Mall and the Outlets in Dawsonville GA. The cabin is only 3 mins Hawks Ridge Golf Club, Pooles Mill Park, Ducktown Park, and Sawnee Mountain Park and is within 15 minutes of Indian Seats and more than a dozen parks within Forsyth County. In you wish to venture out further, the cabin about 20-30 minutes from popular places for activities such as Boating(Lake Lanier), Hiking (Amicalola State Park), Golf, Tennis, Pickleball, Paintball, Skeet Shooting, Go-Cart Racing (Amp Motorsports), Horseback Riding and more. Summary: We had a great time of our stay at this cabin in the country. Plenty of beautiful views and peace and tranquility to help you forget the hustle and bustle of the city, yet close enough the visit. The cabin is the real deal experience and has all the amenities needed. Highly recommend!

Summary: We had a water issue at our home that caused us to have to find a place foe our family for a couple of weeks. We were so fortunate to have found this property. It was absolutely amazing and felt like we were on vacation. There is so much land to just walk around and enjoy the outdoors. It was absolutely beautiful and the owners were super helpful and quick to respond.

Summary: We loved staying in this log cabin/house for 3 weeks. The rooms are nice size and the kitchen and living room are well appointed. It was clean and it smelled good. The floors are a little creaky and there is zero sound proofing, but otherwise the place is impeccable (and we are very picky guests). The back deck was so cozy to hang out in when it rained, and I loved practicing cooking on the Blackstone griddle there. If we need to stay again in Cumming, we’ll definitely be back.

Summary: This place and setup is great for family and friends. The house is updated and clean with all the furnishings you would need. The setting is perfect on the farm with the horses just out the back door. Owners were very nice and helpful during our stay. Would definitely recommend.

Summary: A fantastic cabin experience with easy host communications for all your needs. We have been traveling to Cumming to visit my three college-age kids for ten years. We've always stayed in hotels, and the hotel experience has lost appeal. My wife and I decided to try VRBO for a new adventure. And what a great experience it was for all of us at this cabin home. Swings. The walk down the farm road lane to see the grazing horses and playful goats in the pens was so peaceful and beautiful. The kids kept saying... "I can't believe this is an actual cabin." The experience differed from the concrete city we have gotten used to, and the cabin offered the best family time, ample space, comfort, and amenities. We cooked and ate meals together in the "treehouse" dining room, and in the mornings, we drank coffee on the huge back porch. Do yourself a favor and book this farmhouse cabin when looking for a great place to stay in the city of Cumming but want the feel of a mountain cabin farm.

Summary: Beautiful cabin and property! It is furnished very nicely, and as everything you need. We felt very at home while staying there. Our kids also enjoyed walking down to see some of the animals on the property. The owners were friendly and easy to get in touch with.

Summary: We stayed here over summer 2022 for a baseball tournament. When we scheduled the tournament again for summer 2023 there was no question among our group as to which property they wanted me to try and book. House, property and host all exceed expectations. Just the right balance of seclusion and proximity to convenience. Modern with a rustic feel. Host treats you like a long-time neighbor. Recommend without hesitation. Not sure I will make another baseball trip to this area, as my kid has now "aged out" for this event but if we do, I know where I'm staying
