Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Location was great. The idea of a bus works well and overall the concept is good
Negative: In winter it’s cold. The bus would need some modernization and refreshment and a really good clean. A bread knife would have been useful as would a few more plates and soap to wash them (sugar soap doesn’t work)

Positive: Perfect location and nice view. Really smart decor of the busses.
Negative: One heater didn’t work so it was really cold in the bus. We never got warm water in the bus. The stove took about an hour to boil water for two cups of coffee. There was very little dishwashing soap. The toiletbuilding seems like its about to crash. Very weary busses and toilets/bathroom. I was here 3 years ago and it is really looking torn and worn out now.
Summary: Perfect location but worn busses and buildings

Positive: the experience of sleeping in a bus, esja mountain nearby
Negative: kitchen area was sometimes poorly equipped, for 4 persons there was not much space (i would rent 4 buses for 3 ps each instead)
Summary: very nice experience, but one night for me was enough

Positive: Off the beaten path. This is a creative, communal style glamping site. Double - sized city buses converted to comfortable sleeping quarters. Very nice. Loaded with character and charm. Separate building for shared WC / bathroom / shower. Outside, chickens were roaming about, and sheep were nearby, too. Grand view of the mountains behind, the sea in front, and the sky above. Just 25 mins from Reykjavik, but far enough away that we saw northern lights directly above us one evening.
Negative: The WiFi NEVER worked. Never. A caretaker was present / residing on site, and reportedly was also asking the owner/manager (who was away on holiday) about the WiFi. There was no response from owner about WiFi. Oh well.
Summary: Glamping... bus style.
