Negative: No room service! Rang for half an hour, finally went downstairs myself. No receptionist. Told they only one and she was transferring luggage so no room service. Disappointing. Breakfast was poor. Waited half an hour for luke warm coffee and 45 mins for breakfast. By the time it came neither my wife nor I were pleased with it, but this may have been due to the annoyance of Kate amservice. Went to get a yoghurt pot as couldn’t finish the cooked breakfast. Found a hair in it. Told reception, breakfast was refunded, staff very apologetic but it soured the trip for us. Won’t come again

Positive: Wonderful stay on a sprawling estate which was lovely to walk around. Didn’t use the pool or wellness centre unfortunately. Great facilities and excellent base to explore Stratford on Avon, Oxford and smaller nearby towns by car. Chateau style hotel, very friendly staff, comfortable room with lovely shower, big & comfy bed, sitting area and mini bar fridge- no freezer. Lots of pillows and gown and slippers.
Negative: A suggestion rather than a dislike: A light/ lamp on writing desk would be helpful as it was hard to see late afternoon/ evening.
Summary: Excellent stay at chateau style hotel.

Negative: Nothing. It was a great stay. Only small issue we had is that there is very little soundproofing between rooms so you can hear people in the corridors etc. but it didn’t bother us too much.
