Positive: The cabin was warm and welcoming, the staff had turned on the heating so we walked into a warm cabin ready to settle in after a long drive from Adelaide. Spacious, comfortable and perfect for our needs even though we are a family of 6, the kids didn’t feel hemmed in. Central to everything we wanted to explore in Ballarat. Staff were really friendly at reception and ensured we were well informed on how the park operated.
Negative: It’s not that I ‘didn’t like’ the property, I found the kitchen lacking in essentials for cooking. There was one saucepan and only 5 forks. Not a dealbreaker and I adjusted accordingly but considering our large family, we couldn’t eat out all the time so I’d cook. Could have done with a fry pan, a larger cutting board and scissors.
