Positive: This park has many types of accommodations with different levels of comfort. I liked the environment, the park is really nice, generally, all houses have their own space, sometimes with a small garden, depending on the level of comfort. Lots of trees and green. The park is close to the natural treasure De Hoge Veluwe National Park, one of the reasons for which I visited the region.
Negative: The general feeling is disappointment. I encountered too many issues, starting with services I paid but were not provided properly (I was reimbursed in the end, though). Some appliances were not working as they should, including frige and shower. But what was most annoying was the incredible lack of cleanliness. I had to dust the room myself, in order to be able to make the bed for sleeping. However, the general feeling was that of dirt all around. The bathroom was not cleaned properly, nor the rooms, nor the windows. They have like a carpet in the living room which was full of dirt and dust. The sofa had plenty of stains. I believe the previous guest of that room allowed its animal, most probably a dog, to sleep in the bed. As I am alergic to animal fur and since the room was not cleaned adequately the traces of dog skin and hair made me feel sick during the entire stay. I pass many other disgusting details. Generally, I try to find positive things for my ratings on booking but this time it was really too much. I have never experienced such a level of disgusting dirtiness. I looked forward to escape from it.
