Extra Large European Style Home:

Great destination for large groups. Comfortably sleeps up to 12 people. Small groups also welcome!

Plenty of individual private space, as well as larger rooms to celebrate all together. There’s also a large lawn for family gatherings and events.
There’s boating and fishing near by. ATV, biking trails and hiking all right on property. Large parking places for boats, trailers and large RV’s.

4600 square feet of living space, including extra-large scenic windows, Brazilian cherry wood and Italian slate floors, a full kitchen with bar seating, and a warmth we are very proud of so far. Whether your just one or two couples needing romance, or larger groups, organized retreats or other functions, we’re committed to bringing you the best experience possible.

Other amenities:

This home is appointed for maximum comfort, fluffy pillows, fluffy throws, and foot rugs that just make you want to curl up by the candlelight. Our beds are the most comfortable of any listing! Waking up rested is so important when waking up, up north.

We have 60 acres of trails that are completely private. Come play on the large lawn adjacent to the home. There's also a large stone fire-pit with plenty of chairs to enjoy the fresh evening air and night sky.

The driveway is well maintained and has a large turn-around access for boats, RV's and recreation trailers. Public boat launch and beach access to is less then 12 minutes away.

If you have any special requests or needs, we will make sure they are handled for you. Just give us 4-5 days notice for anything larger and we will respond quickly to make it happen.

Summary: We were there for a family wedding at Castle Farms so the location was perfect!!! The place has a ton of space and nestled in a quiet area away from anyone else. We had deer prancing through the yard numerous times which was nice to see late in the evening or early morning. The owners communication throughout our stay was timely and they were very responsive. They are working on some upgrades, we weren’t able to take advantage of them, but I imagine once they are done will only add to the experience of your stay.

Summary: This is a large house in the middle of acreage. Lots of space and is well appointed and furnished. We enjoyed our time here. The main tips I would have for anyone staying here are that it is on a pretty rough dirt road and the driveway is also long and rutted dirt. We had a 4x4 so it wasn’t an issue at all but if you have a small car, it could cause you some problems especially after it rains. As to be expected from being in the country, there are lots of bugs (flies, wasps, etc.) and it’s hard to keep them out of the house. It shows 3 bathrooms but is only 2, unless I missed one because it is that large of a space! Overall it is a good place to stay, and nice and quiet. Very good for large groups, I believe it has 9 beds. Owner has spent some time and money thinking about the things in the house and the extras like lots of supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo, towels).

Summary: The home was gorgeous, and had everything we needed. The hosts even had spa like products in the rooms and delicious coffee beans for coffee in the morning. We asked if there was a high chair for our 1 yr old granddaughter, and when we didn’t find one in the house I contacted David and he immediately ran out, purchased one and delivered it to us. Amazing! Highly recommend this property if you need something in this area.

Summary: We had a family get together and this property was great. Plenty of space, loved the 60 acres and David was very accommodating. He let us bring our RV since we were traveling. Highly recommend staying here.

Summary: We had an amazing trip with some friends and family. The location was perfect in between Boyne and Charlevoix. It was extremely private location with very scenic views in the back yard. The trails throughout the property were very pleasant to take walks with the dogs and friends. The house had everything provided for a comfortable stay. Kitchen was well stocked and so was the bathrooms. Was surprised by the amount of beds in the house. We plan on staying at this location again for our winter trip for skiing.

Summary: David is an excellent host and made communication an ease. Property is conveniently located between Charlevoix and East Jordan and has no problem fitting large groups. The house is isolated back in the woods that makes for a very peaceful setting. House has all the essentials and was very clean.

Summary: Guys - this property is to die for - 51 acres of Pure Michigan bliss to entice every single one of your senses. My family and I had a blast here. We grilled, hiked, had bon fires, and even did fireworks. Host was awesome also. Very welcoming, courteous, and hospitable. Would def recommend this property.
