Positive: We liked the Quality of breakfast and dinner meal. The Therme inside and outside and the staff at the arrival was very nice. The water really tasted different , very good.
Negative: We checked in late, so unfortunately we missed the afternoon coffee and cakes that were included in our stay. We asked at reception if we could enjoy them the next day before leaving, and were told yes — but in the end, we were charged extra for it. We were also unlucky that the kids’ corner was closed for 3.5 hours after lunch due to a public holiday in Austria. Considering the number of families staying, the kids’ club should really be larger and available for longer. The hotel itself is clean and the rooms are nice. However, in Austria, we’ve stayed at other family hotels offering more for the same price. That said, it was still a pleasant experience overall.

Positive: It was absolutely one of the best vacations we took as a family. We have 4 children with wide range of ages from 2 to 14, and everyone had fun on the slides, even we as adults enjoyed sliding with our kids. We were there in June, which is off season because Austrian and German kids are at school until July. So, the lines were very short and if we went to the park after dinner, we were almost alone, which was incredible. Staying at the hotel Paradiso made our stay a lot easier as we were able to go in and out of the park easily. The downside of coming there off season was that the padding zoo was not there yet and all parts of the park except for the Aquapulco (kids part) were closed. But the saunas reopened on the last day of our stay and the saunas were amazing! They have a wide choice of different saunas, and also two snow rooms. It’s available only for kids over the age of 16, and rightfully so as people walk there naked. We sneaked some of our kids there in the evening around 9 pm when there were almost nobody left there and the kids loved the saunas too. I wish they have at least one hour - two hours designated each day for kids to attend and not allow any naked adults, so the kids can also get the full experience. The food was OK, very thoughtful breakfast with lactose free option of milk, butter and cheese and freshly squeezed orange juice. Dinner was good enough with some dishes tasting better than others. Staff was incredible polite, friendly and helpful. Overall we had a stress free, worry free wonderful relaxing time in there. We liked it even better than Disney Cruise that we took two months ago.
Negative: The lunch only had cakes and pastries and we would have appreciated a healthy lunch instead, such as soup and salad. We were very bothered by all the smoking. We hope Austria as a country will evolve to understand that just because smoking is outside it doesn’t make it ok. Any time we went outside, like swimming in the pool outside, kids area with outside slides, we were forced to inhale smoke. Considering that this is a wellness and health oriented hotel, they need to absolutely prohibit smoking in all public areas, especially areas with high traffic and kids such as pools and entry to the hotel. Smoking is thumbs down and very poor choice. We wish there was an option for kids to experience saunas. Also, there were some repair work and two mornings we were awakened by the loud noise of drilling.
Summary: As a whole we highly recommend this hotel and these therms. Fun for all ages and relaxing for adult
