Positive: Lovely welcoming warm home. Patio outside the room looking out on green fields. Mary and Jimmy are excellent hosts. Jimmys breakfast has to be one of the best in Ireland.

Positive: Hidden Gem with a Personal Touch – 5 Stars I recently stayed at The Evergreen B & B and it was everything a bed & breakfast should be—warm, welcoming, and wonderfully comfortable. From the moment we arrived, the hosts Jimmy & Mary were exceptional. The room was cozy, and immaculate with a lovely en-suite with a large shower. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with soft linens and plush pillows that made it hard to get up in the morning. A bonus is the private outdoor space to enjoy the views and your morning drink of choice. Breakfast in the morning was outstanding so much to choose from (I found this rare compared to the majority of the B&Bs I have stayed in) fresh OJ, all varies of tea, coffee, wonderful loaf breads and hot dishes cooked by Jimmy to perfection and served in the sunny dining room overlooking the garden. The location was ideal—quiet and peaceful, yet just a short drive from local attractions, 30 minutes to Dublin center by taxi and 2 major golf courses. The Jimmy and Mary were more than happy to provide recommendations and even provide city maps for the day. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with genuine hospitality and a true local feel, I can’t recommend The Evergreen enough. We’ll definitely be back.
