Summary: This cabin is divided into 2 apartments and we rented the 1 bedroom apartment on top. Beautiful views from the comfortable balcony and very peaceful and quiet. Well furnished and pretty except that I struggled all wknd because I’m highly allergic to pet dander and fur. Sadly, the apartment was covered in it. I didn’t realize there were indoor pets before renting. I vacuumed for over an hour and barely made a dent as it was on everything. The owner was very kind and apologetic about it and said that the dog has moved out with her son, so hopefully it will get better in the future. Overall, we enjoyed the place and it would’ve been perfect if I hadn’t had allergy problem.

Summary: My husband and I had a terrific time at Shadow Mountain, the location cannot be beat. We were close to Mt. Evans, several scenic byways, Idaho Springs, and Golden. The views are amazing. Morning coffee on the deck watching the mountains come alive with light is the way to start a day.. We even left an item at the house and Cheryl was so willing to send to us overnight even! Shadow Mountain is a treasure.

Summary: Great stay in all regards! Cheryl's place is beautiful, comfy and very well equipped. It's easy to find, even though we lost cell coverage in the last half mile (wifi is great once you arrive). Location was VERY convenient for everything we did in Denver area, and the many miles we covered in day trips. Thanks Cheryl, we hope to visit you again!
