Positive: The host was super gentile and kind, the place is beautiful with an stunning garden. The food is homemade and delicious. Definitely was one of our best nights in Sri Lanka. I highly recommend this place!

Positive: If you are lucky enough to get a room here, book it immediately as you won't regret it. The place is colonial style, shady luxurious feeling with teak wood furniture and amenities that are just gorgeous, this place should be triple the price but I think the owner has just started hosting because everything is new. The food is exqusite, I had dinner and breakfast. The owner and his family looked after me. I went to the Elephant Transition Service, washed my clothes and had the best sleep ever before proceeding on my journey. Highly recommend this location.
Negative: Nothing. It was the best Booking.com I've ever stayed in.

Positive: We had a really great time with Evergreen in Udawalawe. We had a very nice stay here. The place is quiet and peaceful, just what we were looking for. We really enjoyed the calm environment. The host owner was super friendly and helpful — made us feel very welcome and even helped arrange our safari. We did an evening safari at Udawalawe National Park, and it was one of the best we've ever had. We saw lots of animals, and the whole experience was amazing. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re visiting the area!

Positive: We had the best time in Sri Lanka so far, the breakfast and dinner were delicious, the accommodation was very clean, modern and incredibly lovingly furnished. It was more beautiful than you can imagine from the photos. As a nature lover, I can highly recommend the safari with Suraa! It was important to me not to drive in convoys so that the animals would not be unnecessarily stressed and it was great that he was on the same page! We were mostly alone so it was very special for us. He has a lot of experience in what he does and not only shared his knowledge of the animals with us, but also of the fascinating plant species! We are very grateful for the wonderful experience and to have met such lovely people. Lots of love from us!

Positive: Our time at Udawalawe was truly great! The room was clean and much bigger than we expected. Everything seems to be new and well designed. The garden is so beautiful and peaceful – we liked it! The owner was so kind and friendly to us. He even arranged our half-day safari, and it was one of the best experiences we had in Sri Lanka. We highly recommend this place!
