Looking for the right water front home on Cedar Creek Lake for a family trip? This 4/2 Waterfront + Deck Dock is the perfect layout for multiple families.
One hour from downtown Dallas. This completely remodeled home is surrounded by mature trees. The house is on a protected cove right off the main body of the lake. (Best tubing, skiing water run on the lake)
You’ll have access to games, kayaks, paddleboats, hammock, floats, water toys, Fishing gear, had grill, wood fire pit, corn hole +more!
The space

The master suite is downstairs, along with a second bedroom.
The great downstairs room has a wood-burning fireplace and wall of windows overlooking the lake, with double French doors opening onto the covered patio. ( open the doors altogether and let the fantastic lake breeze flow throughout the house)
The upstairs guest room has a covered porch with views of the lake in three directions.
There is also a very large second bedroom upstairs that could double as a game room. Remodeled kitchen features granite countertops and a large island. Remodeled bathrooms have granite counters and vessel sinks
This is a special part of the lake because you can enjoy swimming/ relaxing in a protected cove (not slammed around by wide open waters). Want more adventure? We’re located at the best water skiing/tubing run in the whole lake!
The kitchen is stocked with everything you’ll need, from grilling to hosting a meal—kitchen Aid mixer, pots, pans, baking pans, etc.
Margarita machine and Pebble ice maker (sonic ice) is also available.

Buffalo (mascot) will be there to greet you! He’s a nod to our second favorite vacation destination on Catalina Island!
The official libation of Buffalo inn is the Pain Killer! A playful nod to Soggy Dollar Bar BVI) Ingredients and supplies (directly imported from BVI) are included in the recipe in the bar area. Pain Killer is best enjoyed at the top of the dock or on the porch. You’ll probably have more than one just because you’re on vacation + we have a margarita machine, Sonic Ice Maker, electric martini shaker, wine fridge, and wine chiller available for your use.
Fishing Tales start here: Cedar Creek Lake many coves that offer an incredible array of fishing habitats, plus we can arrange for a guided fishing adventure. Predominant fish species of Cedar Creek Lake are blue catfish, channel catfish, flathead catfish, largemouth bass, white bass, hybrid striped bass, and crappie
Working on your golf swig? Pinnacle golf course is just a 7-mile drive.
Have a boat? Fantastic! The landing is 1 block over; rocks throw from our house. Plus, we have a dock with a boat lift available.
Need extra space to celebrate a birthday party or rest in a park? I got you covered! There’s a cute little circle park 10 steps from the house.
Bringing the kiddos? No problem - I have a 4moms pack n play, high chair, two lobster high chairs that fit on the island, bumbo floor seat, suction plates plus blankets ( I have two kiddos myself, 2.5 and newborn)
I’m a clean freak/linen snob! This is my personal family lake house, so rest assured you’ll find that we have amazing clean beds, LUXURY linens, soft towels, fresh pillows replaced often. Hyper allergic covers on all beds and pillows. Plus, a fantastic housekeeper that would rival the Waldorf or Four Seasons staff.
Kick-off those shoes; no need to tiptoe around the Inn is immaculate. Lastly, leave those blow dryers at home (I have a Dyson hairdryer available for your use), extra disposable razors, luxury soap, and shampoo!
Just pack a bathing suit, some shorts, flip flops, and head on out!

Summary: My husband and I were in the Texas for him to attend NRVTA. My children decided to come down while we were in the area. We had a total of 6 adults and an 18 month old. The house was a very nice size for all of us. We enjoyed the view of the lake, the hammock, and the fireplace. My 18 month old grandson enjoyed the blocks and toys. We did have to chase him many times when he decided to run down to the water because there is no barrier. It was not a big deal as we had 6 people to make chase, but could be important to someone else. We did appreciate the high chain locks on both doors to keep him inside the house at all times. The locks were very much appreciated, and a well thought out safety measure. We had a plumbing problem with slow drains while we were staying, and the property manager got a plumber out to address the situation right away. The weather was very cold the last few days of our stay, and we enjoyed the use of the fireplace. The fireplace was probably our favorite part of our stay. We had two nice fires, and really enjoyed those evenings. The kitchen was supplied with enough items for what we needed. We used the bbq for most of our meals. Our one recommendation for improvement would be a new bbq. My son in law is a chef, and he did most of the cooking. He said it would be good to have a replacement. The property manager Danelle was very friendly and quick to take care of anything we needed. A

Summary: Loved the neighborhood. Really quiet. House was very clean and set up for just about anything. Played many games there and did catch a few tiny perch which the kids and grandkids loved, even though the water was really low. Stocked great for cooking. Really enjoyed the stay. Thanks!!

Summary: Booked the property for a long weekend just to get out of the city for a bit. Great communication from the owner and they accommodated our dogs with notice ahead of time. Lots of beds in this little house, which gave our teens their own space. It has a great outdoor area to hang out in. Lots of mosquitos, but it’s the lake so you kind of expect that. House is well appointed and everything is labeled really well so you can find lights and so forth. Would stay again!

Summary: Spent the week of the solar eclipse here. The home was as described and as expected by the photos. It's very cozy and quiet. Viewing the eclipse from the raised deck was absolutely amazing. Would stay here again definitely.

Summary: Even though it was extremely cold outside, the view and fireplace made everything inside that much more cozy! We ended up in bad weather, and without a problem were able to stay an extra night! Amazing host who offered free fire wood to make sure we were comfortable during the freeze. Beds were comfortable, plenty of room for our big family, and such a cozy feel. Loved the whole experience!

Summary: Our family decided we needed something different this year for Thanksgiving and Buffalo Inn was just what we needed! The kitchen was well equipped for us to prepare a Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings. We loved all the furnishings and the linens were nice quality. We would book again!
