Located on tranquil Sodus Bay in the picturesque village of Sodus Point, NY, The Lakehouse Landing is the ultimate waterfront ranch retreat that’s an ideal setting for your next getaway.
Beautifully updated and outfitted, this one-story open floor plan home includes a large living room and adjacent dining area, spacious kitchen with stainless steel appliances and plenty of counterspace, and an expansive sunroom with walls of windows providing endless views of Sodus Bay. There are four generously sized bedrooms (1 king bedroom, 2 queen bedrooms, and a bunk room) that can accommodate up to 8 people as well as three full bathrooms.
The Lakehouse Landing is exceptionally positioned along a private drive with significant waterfront on both sides of the property providing endless recreational opportunities and priceless views. Enjoy fishing and swimming on the Bay side of the house or dock your boat on our large private dock that is situated on a tranquil channel. For additional outdoor entertainment, there is a large south-facing patio overlooking the Bay with plenty of space for al-fresco dining and relaxation. Cook up a feast or simply sit under the pergola and soak in the scenery - There is no shortage of things to do at The Lakehouse Landing.

Summary: We truly enjoyed our stay here. We had to come up in February due to a death in the family and this house was the perfect place for us to gather and remember our family member. It was clean and the owner was attentive and responsive when we had questions. We enjoyed the wings at Jacks and the kids thought it was so fun to be able to walk on a frozen lake. We are looking forward to booking this house again sometime in the summer to get the summer experience!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay. The property was beautiful and included great amenities for cooking and eating! We really enjoyed the spacious home, with plenty of seating and areas to socialize. The beautiful sunroom overlooking the bay was our favorite part of the home, but there were many highlights!

Summary: The house was almost exactly like the photos, place was very clean. We loved the back room looking out at the water. The house felt cozy and comfortable. Gail was always there to answer questions.

Summary: We stayed in May 2021 to celebrate our daughter's graduation from college. Loved it. This time we had a wedding in Ontario so decided to return and take a couple of extra days to enjoy the Fall. We had fabulous Fall weather. Enjoyed biking, hiking, running, visiting the falls in Wolcott and seeing family and friends. It is so nice to wake up and have breakfast looking out on the bay. So restful. A beautiful place for a wonderful time!

Summary: This property was clean, stocked with a spectacular view. The set up was perfect for us. Everyone had their own space yet plenty of living space with comfortable seating. We had a wonderful time.

Summary: This house is a gem. The location and views could not be more perfect, surrounded by water, the beach and town a quick walk away, as well as the bay acting as a beautiful portrait to easily look at through the many large windows. We stayed with our family over the Christmas holiday and the house had more than enough room for us, and the kitchen was overly equipped with everything we needed for a great dinner. VRBO only allows a max of 5 stars, but we would give it a 10 if we could. Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful house.

Summary: Lovely home, beautiful decor, and a view that is hard to beat. Beds were comfortable, plenty of bathrooms and room to spread out - we were not cramped at all (7 adults). We especially enjoyed a lot of time relaxing in the sunroom watching the boats, cormorants, and salmon jumping. Location was great. Gail was easy to reach, and check-in/check-out was a breeze. Would love to stay again! Highly recommend!

Summary: We loved our visit to Sodus Point and enjoying Gail and Steve's home was a big part of it! The views are truly wonderful! We loved watching the birds and boats on the bay as we drank our coffee. The kitchen was stocked with anything we could possibly want! The fire pit out by the water was heavenly! The beds and relaxing spaces were comfortable and the showers superb! Such a lovely place. And it was sweet to be within walking distance to Captain Jack's great food! And we had a great visit to open air bar on the other side of the bay... Great pizza AND live music! Bonus!
