Our house was rebuilt in 2012 and planned with great care and tastefully decorated. The house is suitable for families, couples, solo travelers or small groups and is idyllically located on the edge of the forest in the resort town of Agenbach (Neuweiler municipality). The Alpenblick viewpoint is 770 meters above sea level. On clear, cold days you can see as far as the Alps. For hikers, Agenbach is a popular starting point for smaller or extended hiking tours all year round. The place is known for its winter sports offer far beyond the district boundary. If the snow is good, the groomed trails (10 km Fronwald, forest edge trail and approx. 15 km ski hiking trail) invite you to great tours. Mountain bikers can also start straight away. In Bad Teinach you can relax in the thermal bath or in the beauty spa. There are many good restaurants of all price ranges in the area. The house has 3 bedrooms with 2 beds each, a bathroom, 2 sep. Toilets and another shower in the sauna area. In the living room there is an open kitchen with bar and dining area. A beautiful tiled stove creates a cozy atmosphere.

Summary: We stayed for a week to see family In the area. Easy access to the beautiful Christmas markets at Esslingen (1hr). Nagold ice skating (30mins) and a day visiting Stuttgart markets (60mins). The house was a beautiful peaceful sanctuary to come home to each night, so warm, we even had some snow. Beautiful stay. Very comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Lovely walks locally.

Summary: Our family had a wonderful week at this beautiful house and idyllic surroundings. Many hiking trails begin right outside the door. The nights were very quiet. The big picture window is a dream. The kitchen is very well equipped. We highly recommend it for a quiet family getaway.

Summary: The silence and peace that one can experience while staying here is fantastic. Agenbach is a lovely little town with very friendly people, plenty of places to walk in the woods and fields, and get away from it all. There are no businesses of note in the town but plenty of small towns in the area have anything you may need within a few minutes drive. The house is immaculate and the kitchen is well equipped. There is no microwave which is fine, but worth noting. There are spices, oil, and vinegar, good coffee and tea preparations and an excellent stove. Good pots and pans and everything you need to cook lovely meals. The wood stove is incredible and warms the house beautifully on the colder days, and on sunny autumn days, no heating is required as the floor to ceiling windows pour golden sunlight and warmth into the house. Ventilation is easy and complete, and airflow can be ensured as plenty of windows are available to open. There are a great number of games and books in German to read, and all seating areas and couches are very comfortable. The Showers are fantastic, and the Sauna is relaxation pure. There is a small "gym" area in the Sauna area which allows a place to do some activities like body weight exercises or Yoga. The WiFi is stable and functional, however, it is not blazing fast, so if you are looking to perform work while on vacation which requires heavy uploads or downloads, please think about enjoying your surroundings first and foremost and close your computer. I cannot wait to have the opportunity to return to this property. It is magical and I feel completely refreshed after my visit there.

Summary: Situated at the end of the village, a wander way into the Black Forest is right next to the house. Very clean, beds comfortable. Kitchen stocked with spices, lots of cookware. There's a beautiful terrace where you can eat outside. Utilized the (Miele) washer and dryer, detergent also provided by homeowner. A wonderful home to enjoy your stay in Schwarzwald. Highly recommend!!
