Welcome home to our house which is only 15 minutes in from Stockholm city. The house is located on one of the highest points in a residential area with four terraces in different weather strips and a brilliant and soothing view of the archipelago.
It is a great location for exploring Stockholm and its Arcipelago with over 30,000 islands.
Just 14 km from Stockholm city is charming Saltsjรถ-Boo in a wonderful archipelago nature. In the surroundings you will find beautiful walking paths along the water and several beaches, cliffs and lake with swimming area. Take a peaceful forest walk or jog and explore the scenery or walk along gravel roads down to Boo Gรฅrd where the Waxholmsbรฅten adds for further trips out into the archipelago or into the city.
The house is modern and airy and has a fantastic south-facing light. Here all the seasons are beautiful and it is a joy to look out over the surroundings in both greenery and a crisp sunny winter day with crystal clad pine and spruce peaks.
The house is 220 sqm and has a large and airy welcoming entrance hall with high ceilings and patio door to the pool area and garden. On the lower level there is a laundry room and 3 bedrooms, one of the bedrooms is a master bedroom with direct connection to a large bathroom with a small Jacuzzi and sauna and entrance to the pool area. There is another bathroom between the other two bedrooms. All bedrooms have balcony doors onto terraces.
Here you can relax in the garden or enjoy the heated outdoor pool in a transparently protected pool area with large terrace with sun loungers. There is also a pergola with ceiling and lounge furniture and an outdoor kitchen with bar, grill and dining room furniture.
On the upper level you will find the kitchen, dining room and living room in an open plan with a stunning view of the sea and nature. Open wood-burning fireplace and high ceilings. There are two terraces in different directions. A terrace with morning sun with loungers and a terrace with associated dining furniture and lounge furniture where you can enjoy the sunset.
We have a raised garden with berries and lawn for play and games.
There are grocery stores, bakery and mall within close distance. We tip in our information leaflet about beach swimming, beautiful and interesting nature reserves, museums, farms, spa facilities, restaurants and various excursion destinations found in the surrounding area.
We want to make you aware that we have a dog who lives in the house but the dog is not in the home when we rent out our home.

Summary: We could not have asked for anything better at this property. It was amazing. Every single detail was thought of in this house & everything we could have wanted or needed - the hosts had. It is absolutely beautiful, spacious & an amazing layout. We enjoyed dinners in the amazing kitchen, beautiful sunrises on the spacious deck & easy travel to Stockholm. It is located a little bit outside the city, but the travel to the city by car or train was SO easy! This house truly made our trip what it was. The host is incredible helpful & our stay was easy! We will definitely be coming back!

Summary: Imagine reading your favourite book or watching favourite movie. The moment at the end of the story where all the pieces come together. It is so nice that there is a happy ending yet there is only few pages to read left or few minutes of the movie to watch. And you want to keep reading or watching! This is the best way I can describe how me and my family felt while living in the house. Not only the house, the nature around and food in restaurants was really great. Summary: We just finished our two-week vacation in Sweden, and had the great pleasure of renting this gorgeous home in Saltsjo-Boo for the second week. When my family and I travel, we prefer rental homes for the space and privacy. We are extremely picky, opting for luxury homes without compromise. I can say without question, this home is one of the nicest and most complete ones we've rented. The home is every bit as beautiful in person as it appears in the photos. The owners - Maria and Claes - have done a marvelous job and have impeccable taste in decorating. The home is laid out wonderfully to take full advantage of the gorgeous surroundings in any weather. When we weren't using the pool and sauna, we particularly loved sitting outside on the covered deck on the second story looking out on the sea and surrounding nature. The home is within easy hiking distance of trails and beaches; there are supermarkets and a great bakery within a short drive; there are good restaurants; and it's a great jumping off point to either Stockholm or the further archipelago. Summary: What a wonderful place! We had superb six days at this BEAUTIFUL house, simply perfect. The property, which is set on a hillside, is with style and exquisite attention to detail. All rooms throughout the house are very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It is exactly as pictured and has everything you need. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and it was nice cooking dinner while watching the sunset over the Swedish archipelago. We had privacy and a wonderful view and we loved the indoor/outdoor living space and spent a good proportion of time on the various porches. Stockholm is only a short drive away and it is very easy to get there by car, bus or ferry. And there is no shortage of things to do in the area. Maria and her family were incredibly nice, hospitable and provided many valuable tips for activities, restaurants etc. When we left it felt like we have stayed at a friend's house. It is one of the nicest rental villas we have ever stayed in, a very relaxing place we hope to return to!

Summary: We loved everything about the aesthetics of the house. Simply gorgeous. Everything was appointed to perfectly. A couple big ticket items didn't work but the owners were super accommodating with brainstorming or showing up when necessary. LOVED!
