This property is absolutely unique - with close to 260 acres of woods which include both a Private 15 Acre Lake and Eau Claire River frontage for you to enjoy. It has something to offer everyone during all seasons in Northern Wisconsin. Grab some snowshoes, a pair of cross-country skis, or take a stroll on the wooded trails encircling this lake or leading to the Eau Claire River. Enjoy a peaceful kayak ride on the lake, go for a swim or lounge on the dock with zero interruptions from the outside world. Drive just a few miles up the road and enjoy a three hour float or kayak adventure on the Eau Claire River with a convenient exit off the river right on the property. You can access 4-wheeler and snowmobile trails within 1/4 mile from the property.
This 3 bedroom, 2 bath 2,000 sq ft home is located right on the lake with your own private beach, dock and raft including the use of a couple of kayaks, a canoe and rowboat. Gather on the outdoor patio for some grilling and a campfire and watch the sunset reflect off the water and surrounding pines.
Head inside for some socializing after the sun goes down in the spacious, open area kitchen, dining room and living room. There's a place for everyone! This modern kitchen has brand new appliances and is fully stocked with everything you need. A dining room table that seats 10 and center island with stools provide adequate seating for everyone. Hang out in the lower level living room to watch T.V. or enjoy a view of the lake from the windows of a three season porch. Beat out the cold and cozy up in front of either of the two gas stoves on chilly nights or during the fall and winter months. Enjoy air conditioning as well on those hot summer days.
You'll have the best view in the house in the master bedroom that overlooks the lake through double sliding glass doors that open onto a spacious enclosed deck; the perfect place to enjoy your morning cup of coffee and watch the sunrise.
The house sleeps eight people with three bedrooms; two featuring queen beds and one with full size bottom and single top bunk bed and a single bed, but with a daybed and couch that has a full pull-out sleeper, it can accommodate at least eleven. There are two full bathrooms, one upstairs with a shower and one downstairs with a tub/shower including a washer and dryer for your convenience.
You are right in the middle of all the major recreational towns that provide day excursions, shopping or festivals, with Hayward, Bayfield and Superior/Duluth all within an hour drive.

Summary: First time in over 10 years that I've been able to be with all my kids (and now their loved ones) on Thanksgiving, and we had a great time!!! The house was beautiful & the property was drop dead beautiful! It was especially special, as we stayed at another property that Jody (owner) rented a long time ago (20-25 years) probably over a dozen different times...and I didn't know that until I signed my contract and saw her name. A spectacular hostess!!

Summary: Very nice piece of property - the weather was perfect the sleeping accommodations were very comfortable- a lot of room to sit for meals as a family and around the inside and outside of the home - the stars were so BIG and BRIGHT - there was enough kayaks and paddle boats for all to enjoy

Summary: This rental was lovely. Very clean, the owner met us and showed us around, even took us on a ride on the many trails. Great short hike to the river. If we ever come back, we will most definitely swim in the river. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need, including sharp knives!! We had a fire with the requisite s'mores one night. Grandson had a blast with mom and aunt Hannah on the paddle boat. Even did a little fishing (no luck). Sandy beach was great for the many trucks and dozers he brought to play with. All in all, I wholeheartedly recommend this rental for a memorable family vacation!!

Summary: Our stay here was better than expected. The property is beautiful and offers so many amenities we stayed busy all four days! Our families were always doing something, we even had plans to leave and explore other cities but didn’t want to leave the property because we were having to much fun! Summary: Our family had an excellent time staying here! The lake house has great views of the private lake. It was very clean, bedrooms comfortable and kitchen was well stocked with cook wear. The kids had a blast at the beach, swim float, kayaking, peddle boat and row boat. Panfish were biting and good size. Miles of hiking trails on the property were fun to explore. Owner keeps them mowed well. Beautiful lounge area at the river to relax and use the dock. We transported the kayaks up to the Mooney Dam and floated back to the property. Great scenery and wildlife viewing. Highly recommend this property! You won’t be disappointed!

Summary: If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing, stay at the lake vacation~this is your spot!!! Kids loved just hanging out and disconnecting for a few days! We did travel to Duluth for the train and to see Lake Superior which was an easy drive. Listing is accurate so bring anything and everything not on their list! Enjoyed this vacation so much!
