Summary: We really enjoyed staying in this former railway station, which offered a peaceful break from city life. The building has been tastefully renovated and offered everything we needed to enjoy a week with both children and a dog. It is located close to good areas for walking in the Hunsrueck National Park and the Mosel Valley, both of which we were able to enjoy. We particularly enjoyed barbecuing over an open fire and thanks to Ferdi for getting us started with this. Ferdi was very hospitable and helpful throughout our stay. A special thanks for the trip on the railway line on the final day, which was the highlight of both our daughters's holidays.

Summary: Please believe the rave reviews: this is a lovingly restored house, in a very quiet part of a region of great natural beauty. The house is comfortable and decorated with great taste and attention, and it has everything you need for a wonderful stay. The owner is every bit as friendly and helpful as mentioned in the other reviews and even though he lives next door, the house and garden are very private. We, a couple with a toddler, had a wonderful stay - thank you, Ferdinand!

Summary: We received a warm wellcome from Mr Biesel. The cosy 'Bahnhof' has all the necessary equipment for a few days off in a quiet surrounding: ideal for walking and biking. Also our little dog was happy.

Summary: This has to be one of the most enjoyable and comfortable vacation venues my wife and I have ever had. The renovated train station is unique, very comfortable and well appointed from the artwork on the walls to its spaciousness to the way it blends in with the surrounding nature. The quiet is profound. Sometimes all you can hear the birds chirping. Ferdinand is the perfect host, fluent in English as well as several other languages. From he Bahnhof are short drives along the beautiful Moselle Vally and to Trier and Luxembourg. A really great experience for us!
