Trevor Islet is a picturesque 2-acre private island in the Southern Gulf Islands -- Western Canada's sailing and kayaking paradise. The island features a spacious and well-appointed two-bedroom cottage with numerous amenities designed to maximize your comfort and relaxation. Perched at the islet's highest point, the cottage provides spectacular panoramic views of the ocean and the majestic gulf islands. Put your feet up, take in the fresh salt air, enjoy a glass of wine and listen to the ebb and flow of the waves from your private sundeck The islet is located within a five-minute boat ride (ten minutes by sea kayak) of Saturna Island (which is easily accessed by ferry and floatplane from Vancouver). It is also accessible by ferry from Victoria and the other major Gulf Islands. Sea kayak rentals, lessons, and tours are available at the nearby Saturna Island Kayak shack operated by Ocean River Sports. Many guests use kayaks as a quiet and environmentally friendly way to travel throughout the area and to visit nearby Saturna island, which has a restaurant, a pub, and good sightseeing. As part of the rental, we provide a boat shuttle to and from the islet at check-in and check-out. Vehicle parking is available on Saturna Island.

Summary: A really unique & private location but only a few minutes paddle or boat ride from the government wharf. The island has all the amenities & comforts you could ask for then adds amazing sunsets every night. The host's communication before & during the trip, and their logistical support was top-level. Summary: A truly beautiful spot! We rented kayaks to get to Trevor Islet, and enjoyed exploring along the coast (kayaks and hiking). Two of the group were daring enough to jump off the dock and swim and we could see splashes from the whales from the deck. Sunsets were gorgeous each night, and we used the propane fire pit to extend our time on the deck after dark. It was easy to kayak to government dock and walk to the grocery store, and we stopped at Vibrational Cafe and/or the Pub each day for a meal. The host was exceedingly helpful with every question and issue that arose - we'd give it six stars if we could!

Summary: We’re so grateful the hosts have opened their home to allow others to enjoy the peace and magic of their private islet! This was a really fun and memorable trip for our family! We enjoyed kayaking together and exploring somewhere new every day. The hosts were excellent and made us feel so welcome. We hope to come back again next year!

Summary: Property was exactly as described. Perfect-sized private island close enough to amenities that are reachable by a short boat ride. Great view! Beautiful accommodation. Dock can easily handle up to a 40 foot boat, and is well protected from both NW and SE winds. Depth at dock is at least 8 feet on a zero tide. We are planning a return trip!

Summary: My wife and I found ourselves trying to extend our 5 day stay on this perfect little isle. The little isle is beautiful and natural. The sunsets do not disappoint. The house is very comfortable and well appointed for any length stay. Beds are comfortable and the sleep comes easy. We rented a kayak and toured about the bays and beaches and still have more to explore. We will be booking this again at the nearest opportunity.

Summary: The location of Trevor Islet is fantastic and Michael is a super responsive and friendly host. The Islet is a short boat ride (kayak paddle) from the Saturna Island Ferry Terminal and Government Dock, yet once on the Islet you are away from everything. The house has everything for a great stay and the kitchen is well equipped, with some basics (oil, spices etc.) already in place. Internet is stable and reliable and allowed for video calls and general work requirements. We rented kayaks for the week and were out every day - either to use the kayaks as transportation to and from the islet or for sightseeing. The South side of Saturna Island has some amazing cliffs and rock formations. The kayaks can be rented right by the Government dock from Fred, who is also operating the ‘Vibrational Café' with his partner (we can recommend the banana bread and soups). The General Store on the Island has the basics and the offers change depending on the day of the week. There is also a very small farmers market on Saturdays in front of the General Store. The Saturna Cafe has dine in on Fridays and Saturdays (early booking required). The pub at the ferry dock also has good pub food and is only a short paddle away. We definitely planning to come back.
