La Dolce Vista is an old farmhouse from 1900, located in the center of the Casentino valley, in the green heart of Tuscany. The strategic position allows you to easily reach the ancient villages of Poppi, Bibbiena and Stia, the sacred and spiritual places of La Verna, Romena and Camaldoli and the pristine forests of the National Park. The historic cities of Florence and Siena are just an hour away, while Arezzo is only 30 minutes away. The farm takes its name from the "sweet" taste of honey produced on the farm and from the "view" of the castle of the Counts Guidi which will make your stay enchanting. The structure consists of three independent apartments, a large rustic tavern with a comfortable kitchen, a wood oven and a fireplace from which you can admire the suggestive infinity pool located on the front object. We also have a brick gazebo with tables and chairs for having lunch and dinner outdoors.
La Torretta is a 60 square meter apartment suitable for two couples of friends or families with children. The living room with kitchenette features a wooden staircase finished with hand-wrought iron leading to the Torretta where a large bedroom with bathroom will allow you to fully enjoy the view of the Poppi Castle. The apartment also consists of another double bedroom and a large bathroom. The rooms are equipped with double beds in wrought iron. The kitchen is equipped with stove, sink, worktop and fridge.
Il Granaio is a 65 sqm apartment consisting of two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, large living room with sofa bed and kitchenette. Particularly suitable for groups of friends, but also for families with children, it can accommodate up to 6 people. The kitchen is equipped with stove, double sink, worktop, fridge and dishwasher.
Il Fienile is a 50 sqm apartment consisting of a large living room with sofa bed and kitchenette, a double bedroom and bathroom. This studio apartment is equipped to accommodate people with disabilities, as the staircase leading to the first floor is equipped with an automatic chair and the bathroom is designed to make your stay as comfortable as possible. It is ideal for a couple with children but also for two couples of friends. The master bedroom with the castle in the background will make everything more romantic and enchanting. The kitchen is equipped with stove, sink with double bowl, worktop and fridge.
At guests' disposal a large tavern with kitchen, fireplace and wood oven, suitable for groups of friends who want to cook and eat together.
The 14x5 infinity pool is equipped with sun beds and umbrellas.
Starting from May 2023 heated hydromassage pool for 6 people, with chromotherapy and bluetooth radio.
The surrounding garden is furnished with a wrought iron and masonry gazebo, suitable for outdoor breakfasts, snacks and dinners.

Summary: - Great location: Close enough to the village of Poppi to walk in 5 minutes to a small supermarket, but at the same time isolated enough to allow you to do anything you want without annoying a neighbour. The villa is right next to a road and a train line, which you can hear – but after two days you won’t notice it anymore. - History close by: The historic mini-town of Poppi is a 40 minutes’ walk away and worth a trip. One can see the Torre from the pool. - Lovely property: The central kitchen/dining room as well as the individual apartments and their bathrooms look brand new and are furnished with great taste. The kitchen has everything you could wish for. Every apartment has its own WiFi. The garden is extremely well maintained with a manicured lawn, a nice big swimming pool, a hot tub, table tennis, and a playground. - Great host: Alessio, the owner, answers WhatsApp messages within minutes. Asked if the TV could be adapted to receive German channels (to watch football), Alessio got a technician the very next day (!) who climbed onto the roof to change the set-up of the satellite dish for us. Impressive.

Summary: We had a relaxing visit to this amazing Villa! Alessio and his family were so welcoming and enjoyable! The villa was ideal for our group and we had a wonderful pizza night with Alessio's mother, Catia! We also had a local chef, Linda, come in and teach us how to make local cuisine of pasta and raviloi!

Summary: The house was perfect for our group of 12p. Three separate apartments with a big room with kitchen in the center. Very nice pool. Good surroundings and 5min walk to a grocery store. Great place for short and long excursions… But the best was Alessio, the guy that runs the place. He is a star and solved a lot of problems for us. Thank You Alessio❤️

Summary: Alessio’s dropped a pin for location & directions which took all the stress off finding the place. The property is spotless whilst soaked in rustic charm and beautifully presented. The rooms are super comfortable with every convenience. The pool, gardens, table tennis table, football game all ready and waiting for you to play. An amazing holiday venue.

Summary: This is a very comfortable property. The ‘apartments’ all have air conditioning - we were an extended family using all three apartments - and the large family area was suitable for fun evenings with games etc. The pool was a big hit! Alessio and Cattia are excellent hosts.

Summary: We spent our summer holidays with 3 families in this house. To our group belonged 4 adults and 6 children aged 5-9 years. The children had a lot of fun on the premises and were always very busy. To the equipment of the house belonged, apart from the one mentioned in the advertisement, also a child playhouse around garden, a table tennis table and a football table. In this pandemic time we enjoyed our holidays very much and spent a lot of time at the great pool. There are great shopping possibilities for fantastic groceries in the surrounding area (pasta factory, farm with butcher and other shopping possibilities). We prepared several times pizza in the wood oven and "bistecca alla Fiorentina" on the grill. The whole house was extremely clean and in perfect condition. Everyone in our group enjoyed their holiday very much and would like to book again.

Summary: We spent an amazing two weeks at the villa at the end of July / beginning of August with family. Alessio and his mother were extremely accommodating and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed during our stay. The accommodation itself was fantastic, and care has been taken to preserve the natural features and Tuscan charm. All of the rooms were very clean, well equipped and presented beautifully. The pool and surrounding garden was consistently clean, with a variety of activities for all ages, and several seating areas for eating, drinking and socialising. The view of Poppi Castle and the surrounding Tuscan vista was incredible. Would highly recommend and definitely hope to return at some point in the future.

Summary: We were three familys and the house was perfect for us. It was three apartments so each family could have their own space. Then there was a big kitchen and place to eat all together. Outside it was e a lot of space for the children to play and the pool area was very nice with sunbeds and a great pool. We really enjoyed our stay and the host Alessio was very friendly and helpful. It is a house we truly recommend!

Summary: Really beautiful villa+garden, ideal if you go with 3 families to book the whole place. There is a common area with a very well equipped kitchen and a wood pizza oven. Air conditioning worked great. Pool and garden fantastic. The kids absolutely loved the place. This is a 5 star accommodation but in a 3 star surrounding : quite close to the road and what sounded like a gocart place, and also Poppi itself is not the best place to stop by in Tuscany. Huge thanks to Alessio and his mom to light up the pizza oven for us, it was a great experience. Despite the road (which you can get used to quite quickly) I recommend this place.

Summary: This was a beautiful place to stay. It was far more than just someplace to sleep - it was an experience. Our hosts were wonderful and made us feel right at home. We asked for a pizza night in their wood fired stove and it was amazing! Pizza in the US never tasted so good and our hosts made the evening fun. We used the Villa as our home base while touring the region and found it perfectly located. It was a hike but we walked to the castle and the beautiful village of Poppi. There is a grocery store about a five minute walk from the villa that had everything we needed. All in all our stay was a wonderful experience and hopefully one day we will come back. Thank you Alessandro and Katia for being such excellent hosts!!
