Summary: Our family loved our stay! We made use of the heated garage for meals and games. There were many conversation areas. The game area in the basement was perfect for the younger ones in the group. The beds were very comfortable. It was great to have four main ones and an overflow with many bunks. 4 bathrooms, 2 up, 2 down was an amazing plus. We even made use of the whirlpool in the master bath.The kitchen/dining layout was great for our size family.Thanks for a perfect getaway in Starbuck!

Summary: Great stay and owners were very kind. The only things to note were there were a couple in person check ins that were a bit surprising and we would have appreciated some heads up, particularly with small children around we wouldn’t have wanted them to come across strangers, so that’s our feedback on how to make the stay more comfy and why the one less star. And second note there was a hot tub listed but there wasn’t one. All things considered it was still a great place to stay and we appreciate the hosts for sharing their home!

Summary: This is the second time we used this property for our family vacation. This place is awesome and fit the needs of our family very well. We love the spacious home and the big yards for our kids and grandchildren to experience tons of fun! The swings, sandbox, and outdoor fire pit were great additions! There was plenty of space for our large group of 21! Thanks to Jim and Twyla for being such great hosts.

Summary: Our family with 8 adults and 9 children (6-16) enjoyed the backyard, front porch, and everything in between. The quiet view of the prairie is so beautiful! The State Park nearby is fun for non-motorized boating.

Summary: This was the second time we stayed on the ranch. It is very spacious with lots of room. We had 9 adult women and we each had our own bed with lots of room and bathrooms. It's very nice and clean and Jim and Twila are very friendly and helpful. When I sent a message to them asking for help they were very quick to answer and came quickly when we needed them.

Summary: This is a fantastic home with caring and considerate hosts. This is a perfect annual gathering space for 9 adult siblings and some children and grandchildren. The heated garage with a counter and tables/chairs is a bonus that gave us lots of conversation areas and lots of space to spread out. 2025 will be our third year here. Thank you to Jim and Twyla!

Summary: We had a group of 21 staying at the Ranch house for Thanksgiving. The house was very clean and kitchen was well-stocked. The garage provided a great place for kids to play, storage of winter gear, and even cleaning of pheasants after a few hunts. The basement was full of toys and games and the kids kept very busy down there. The bunk room was a great sleeping spot for them. Jim and Twyla were extremely friendly and accommodating with an early check-in request, as well as some other extras like taking our kids on the tractor to feed the cows. This is a gorgeous setting and very close to Lake Minnewaska and Alexandria. We will definitely be returning!
