Positive: The building looks nice from the outside but when you step inside another reality slaps you in the face: there is a bit of a stink in the hallways, two of the three ladies who work in the front office are unfriendly and impossible to understand but then there was Antoinette who just saved the show for us. Genuine and friendly, she raised my score for this apt hotel by at least 2 points! When I left a few clothes behind after checkout and called the next day at least 10 times to see if anyone had found them, the other two reception ladies just didn't want to give me the time of the day with crazy excuses. Finally I got through to Antoinette (who is more of a manager I understand) and she solved the problem (i.e found our stuff) in 5 minutes. She also gave shopping and dining tips without any asking. Otherwise, the room is what you pay for. The AC, showers and Wi-Fi works fine, the kitchen has nothing in it but if you ask you can borrow utensils/plates etc and the room/apt is a decent size BUT
Negative: When we unfolded the sofa-bed we were horrified. Needles, filth, and junk from previous guests lied on top of the mattress. We had to cover the mattress with a blanked before putting the bed sheet on to make it semi-sanitary to lay on it. There as a big whole in the wall from a previous guest which we were not told about and the fridge was noisy as hell thru the night. But all in all, good location and the rest of the stuff, it is a price worthy apt hotel. There is laundry facilities and a gym as well albeit very basic. Ditto for the breakfast which is really just coffee, hot water and oatmeal bags plus breakfast bars. So yes, you get what you pay for.
Summary: Budget hotel with minimally acceptable outfittings - but Antoinette at the reception saves the day!

Positive: The staff were great. Very helpful and friendly :) The location was excellent and I enjoyed the cosy setup of the room.
Negative: The room fully wasn’t clean when we arrived. There was stains on the walls and floor.

Negative: Not able to watch TV as the remote was broken. Refrigerator didn't cool down. Had to throw out my food. Coffee and muffins ran out 50 minutes before then end of breakfast.
