Summary: My son and I drove down from Albany New York to attend the Giants vs Jets game and go to Nickelodeon Universe in American Dream Mall in East Rutherford NJ and we booked a night in the Secaucus NJ Extended Stay. It was very clean, cozy, the television offered premium channels and the continental breakfast was convenient. The staff were absolutely amazing and more than generous going above and beyond for us. When we return to the NJ area we will be booking this hotel again.

Summary: The room was filthy, with stains everywhere and mold in the bathtub. The sheets appeared to be clean, thankfully, although I must admit I was afraid to look too hard. Additionally, the room had a terrible smell as soon as I walked through the door, which I never managed to get over. As a whole, the building itself was in poor condition too. The front door had peeling paint, the stairwell was dirty and poorly lit, and the computer system for check-in was horribly slow. The advertised free breakfast was very disappointing as well. There was no area to eat in, and the food consisted of Nutri-Grain bars and tiny plastic-wrapped muffins. One good thing about this place, and the only reason I rated it two stars instead of one, is that the staff was helpful and friendly. I showed up about an hour before check-in, and the room was ready for me. This was very helpful, as I had somewhere I needed to be at the same time check-in was supposed to start. Overall, despite being pleased with the staff's service, I was very disappointed with this hotel. At almost $300 for the night, I would have at least expected the building to be in good condition and the room to be clean. I will not be coming back here again, and I recommend you don't either unless you are willing to put up with motel-like conditions for 3x the price.

Summary: Everything was great, good service, the only bad thing was the lack of breakfast included, they claim free breakfast but in reality it’s just a muffin, a do it yourself oatmeal, and a coffee machine
