This charming 500 sq. ft. cottage is all about location and comfort. We have always taken a great deal of pride and consideration in our cleaning efforts between renters. You do not have to worry about Covid-19 here because we go above and beyond with sanitation and cleaning. We will now add UV sanitation to assure our guests that it is safe to stay here! We assure you that all bedding will be fresh and clean as well as all surfaces sanitized for your stay.
In addition to modern amenities and all the comforts of home, you will be able to walk out the door and hike on any number of hiking trails in Acadia National Park with South Ridge Trail to the summit of Cadillac Mt. right across the street. A quick walk will take you to Ocean Drive where you can sit with coffee and watch the sunrise or bike the entire loop around Park Loop Road. All of the carriage roads and beaches are just a short distance with a free shuttle bus that will pick you and your bike up at the end of the driveway. If you want nightlife, Bar Harbor is only 4 miles away with all the shopping, restaurants, and bars. The local convenience store is less than .25 mi. down the road where you can also have a traditional lobster bake. The finest restaurant on all of Mount Desert Island, The Burning Tree, is also just .25 mi. down the road from the cottage. We're sure you will love your stay at the Cottage

Summary: Great stay in a quiet neighborhood Easy to drive to the park loop road. The host brought us fresh live lobsters with steamer for a good price. They were delicious. We enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended .

Summary: My husband and I stayed here for a week at the end of September. It truly is in a fabulous location. Only a few minute drive from Bar Harbor and lots of hiking trails, if that's your thing. Nothing fancy about the place, but was very clean and had your basics covered, which was what we were looking for. Also loved access to a washer and dryer, it was actually one of the reasons I booked this place. We flew in, so it was nice to be able to wash clothes and not have to pack as much. We also enjoyed the fire pit a few nights during our stay. We had a great time.

Summary: Cozy clean all we needed. The address is listed as 15 but the door and wall have 1 very prominently displayed. Confusing for me but my daughter was unfazed! A few nearby places already closed for the season but Pine Tree market was awesome and we went to the ocean walk, Havana restaurant and shopping. Nice driveway right at cabin door for parking. Washer and dryer and dishwasher! Loved it

Summary: The home is pet friendly and I wanted to take my little guy with us to hike. We enjoyed our stay, Cadillac mountain trail is in walking distance from the home. Several other trails were accessible also. The park entrance is 4 minutes away. The town of otter creek is very relaxing and quiet. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Summary: My partner and I loved our stay! Great location with easy access to Acadia. Check in process went smoothly thanks to the host’s notes. Fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. Only downside was the bed being uncomfortable. Would recommend to anyone traveling to the area to explore the park, especially couples and their dog.

Summary: Clean, comfortable well equipped unit. Great for two people and a furry friend. Very convenient for shopping, etc, in Bar Harbor and hiking and biking in Acadia. The host was very helpful and responsive. The only disappointment was that the fenced-in yard was no accessible from the house. You had to go out the front door and over to the yard gate. Maybe not a problem for others but for a pet that wakes up at 3:00 am it was inconvenient.

Summary: The place had all that we needed and was perfectly located near trailheads and the sights of Acadia. It was close enough to Bar Harbor that we could go there, but also quietly away from much of the other tourists. A very nice stay.
