Welcome to Sandalwood Vacation Rental at Sagewood. Conveniently located in Central Palm Springs, our three bedroom/two bath condo with a large, private courtyard is a great place to spend a vacation, whether you're in the desert to golf, hike, shop or just kick back and relax.
The condo features a large living area with a 60' TV and comfortable seating with plenty of space for your family and friends, as well as a workspace with wireless scanner/printer. A modern, well-appointed kitchen with pass-through to an open dining area as well as to the mountain view courtyard make this the perfect home for entertaining.
The en suite Master Bedroom features a king-size bed, 47' flat screen TV, access to the interior atrium and plenty of closet space. The second bedroom also has a king bed, large closets and access to the courtyard. The third bedroom features a full-size leather sofa bed, wet bar and access to the interior atrium. High thread count Egyptian Cotton Sheets on every bed and plenty of oversized bath and pool towels ensure your comfort.
Gorgeous Saltillo tiles, central A/C and ceiling fans in every room help keep this home comfortable all year round. A private, beautifully landscaped courtyard with lemon tree and bougainvillea offers dining for six with a gas grill as well as a lounge space with an 11' solar-lighted umbrella, a fire table and comfortable seating. Enjoy your morning coffee, an afternoon cocktail or after dinner conversation outdoors all year long.
Our home was featured in the 2015 Fall Modernism Week “Pads, Pools & Patios” tour of homes. Built in 1970-1972 and designed by Donald Wexler the Sagewood condominiums are a mid-century modern complex on 18 acres. We are located just steps from one of the three heated pools on the property, each with a spa as well as the community tennis courts. Lush green lawns complete the oasis feel. Play a game of tennis or bocce, go for a swim, soak in the hot tub, then relax in the sun— this is the perfect destination for your desert vacation.
We have tried to anticipate your every need. Modern appliances, full-size washer dryer plus lots of extra touches such as yoga mats, pool toys, games and puzzles, book and video libraries, built-in USB ports, digital cable, phone with free nationwide long distance, wireless high-speed internet and more await you. Escape to the desert and forget your cares at Sandalwood, your desert oasis!

Summary: Literally just steps away from pool and hot tub which was important to us. Charles was there to greet us when we arrived and was quick to respond to any questions we had during our month long stay. The kitchen had 3 new appliances which the fridge provided all the ice and filtered water we could use. The owners were very easy to work with and responded quickly. We had a great time! Would love to come back again! Thanks Charles and Michael

Summary: We stayed for a month and a half while we were having our house renovated. It was wonderful a stay. The owners were very nice and accommodating.Right next to the condo is the pool, and we had a very private courtyard. What was especially nice was how cool and energy efficient the condo was. And an added benefit was we got to have our puppy with us. Highly recommend

Summary: Great stay. Property was as represented. Well stocked kitchen. Appliances worked well. Beds in master and second bedroom were comfortable. Bath and hand towels new. Patio is lovely to sit and enjoy the sun, barbecue or watch the stars. Having carport is nice. Great location because it is close to restaurants, downtown and the airport. Unit is also in close proximity to a community pool. A few days before we checked out that pool was closed for renovation so we just used the other pools located on the property. They were lovely and easy walk to access them,

Summary: Very nice villa. neighborhood pool is right outside of the door literally 15 feet away. Owners are very easy to communicate with. I would saty here again if i had the opportunity!

Summary: We really enjoyed simply moving in to Charles and Michaels beautiful condo in our favourite Palm Springs. We really enjoyed the privacy of the atrium while entertaining our visiting friends and family. The beds were super comfy and the bedding was high quality. The location of the pool was simply steps from the home. Really handy as we could still have wifi there. The kitchen was well equipped with every you need. The grocery store is only a 5 minute walk away which was very convenient as we only had a vehicle for part of our stay. I would definitely recommend this condo for anyone wanting to get away.

Summary: We loved our one month's stay at Charles and Michael's beautiful three bedroom condo. This is perhaps the best located units in the Sandalwood complex: steps to the pool and the tennis court. The overall feel of the unit has a great mid-century modern flair: it's so clean and comfortable and spacious, and one has a sense of being in a resort. A bonus is the gorgeous large patio that has flowering plants frequented by hummingbirds (such a joy to watch!), and the complex is very quiet. For our needs, we appreciated having 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. And because this was a working retreat for us, we utilized the desk area. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in, as it is well-equipped and has large windows that overlook the fabulous patio area. We felt right at home. We loved the location too, which was in close proximity to shops, grocery store, restaurants, and movie theaters; as well, it is close to downtown Palm Springs. Charles and Michael are lovely hosts, and they have thought of everything to make their guests welcome, from toiletry supplies to an abundance of linens, to the thoughtful welcome gift when we arrived. We will definitely seek to book their condo again when we return to Palm Springs. Thanks so much for our stay!

Summary: From the ease of dealing with Charles on initial contact through to the final booking of the condo, all was seamless and every effort was made to ensure our needs were met. Meeting with us upon arrival as well as being easily available throughout our stay brought a peace of mind to this rental. The location was great with quick access to the pool, tennis court and grocery store - including easily getting to and from the airport! We loved the outside living area and spent much time outside - as long as the weather wasn't too hot! This had everything we needed and appreciated the comfort of the condo. So quiet - it was nice to walk the neighborhood at night. And a last thought - we were a little concerned about being too close to the airport. I can assure anyone thinking the same thing that this turned out not to be an issue at all. No noise problems. All good. Thanks guys for a great stay!!!
