This fabulous family vacation home includes a finished basement with a ping pong table, stereo and game table with chairs for the kids to escape to after a day at the beach or on one of those rare, rainy Cape summer days. Your back yard will be the Red River conservation area. Enjoy the morning visits of Mrs. Fox, along with constant sightings of, rabbits, squirrels, turkeys and chipmunks. Includes the 'Best outdoor shower in Chatham' with dual shower heads. Just a short drive to the most wonderful downtown on Cape Cod - Chatham, well-known as the best shopping and restaurants on the Cape or equally as lovely Harwich Port with many fabulous restaurants. It is also a very short drive to some wonderful fresh water lakes nearby. Downtown Chatham features their wonderful, family friendly Friday Night Band Concerts - a kids favorite. Enjoy the best-priced baseball anywhere when you watch the Chatham Anglers of the famous Cape Cod Baseball League. Finally the bike path is close to the top of the street and you can either ride to downtown Chatham or head in the other direction towards Dennis. Summary: We found the property to be clean, spacious, and well equipped. The property's location is excellent for touring the outer half of the Cape. A lovely beach is just 2 minutes away. Cannot beat that. Owner was very helpful and attentive. We will consider staying here again the next time we travel to the Cape. A top notch house.

Summary: This is our 3rd time staying at this location. We love the location of the property. Great house for our family of 3 visiting this time. Embarrassed to admit we locked ourselves & the host was super responsive & had us back inside within quickly. Would recommend this property to any family and friends.

Summary: This is a very nice, well maintained and updated house in South Chatham. The location and neighborhood were perfect for us as was the short distance to a very nice beach on Pleasant street. The owner was very good to work with and he always provided great and timely information making the check in and check out process very simple and easy. Highly recommend staying at this house when looking to enjoy a very relaxing vacation Chatham.

Summary: The house was perfect for 4 adults. It's in a quiet neighborhood with a great restaurant (Pisces) and a nice beach (Forest Beach) within walking distance (both less than 1 mile).

Summary: We enjoyed our stay on Melody Lane in south Chatham. We enjoyed going to the restaurants in Harwich and the Red River Beach was very close. We spent one rainy day exploring Chatham. Both towns were easily accessible and the grocery stores were near by. A few pointers are that the mattress in the master bedroom was tough on our older backs and you may want to bring a few dish towels. One of the beach chairs could be replaced as it was very rusted. Overall - we were very pleased with our stay.

Summary: This was a very nice property. Just note that you must bring your own linens which may be an issue if your traveling by air. We did find the mattress very hard and uncomfortable. The location was great and property was well stocked. We had an enjoyable stay.
